CHARMING HOTEL IN NORTHERN ZANTE
Unwind near Zante’s idyllic northern coast with a stay at the Maistrali Hotel & Apartments. It’s just a five-minute stroll from a pebbly beach, near a handful of bars and restaurants, plus lively Tsilivi’s a mere ten-minute drive away if you fancy it.
Like all the best holidays, mornings typically begin by the pool. You’ll find two of them here, one flanked by sun loungers so you can soak up those rays in peace and the other specially made for little ones to make a splash. Feeling thirsty? The pool bar’s nearby so your favourite cocktail’s always just a hop, skip, and a jump away.
When hunger strikes, that’s your cue to head to the hotel’s buffet restaurant. It’s open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, serving up a huge variety of international dishes to please the biggest appetite. But if dining out’s more your thing, you’ll find a few tavernas and local eateries not far from your front door.
No stay here’s complete without sampling the sun-soaked delights of Tsilivi, however. This popular resort’s a hit with holidaymakers and famous for its postcard-pretty beach, which is host to a myriad of adrenaline-pumping water sports. There’s a fantastic water park, too, and plenty of neighbouring areas of natural beauty if you’d rather dial things down a bit.

Find out more about Tragaki
Set in Zante’s serene hills, Tragaki’s loudest inhabitants are chattering cicadas. Here, the rolling Greek countryside is studded with neat olive groves, verdant vineyards and the odd ruin. Time on Tragaki holidays is best spent pottering along village lanes and admiring its picturesque terracotta-roofed houses. It’s also worth walking to the hilltop Spilia monastery, where it’s said an icon of the Virgin Mary was discovered in a cave.
