"Booked for 10 nights as a late holiday first impressions very good nice welcome quick efficient check in We booked a junior suite we actually got a normal room with a small wet room that flooded everything you took a shower however It was spotlessly clean and had a good size open wardrobe but no drawers only shelving a small fridge excellent air conditioner and tea and coffee making facilities re stocked every day The food was very good at breakfast, lunch and dinner The staff were all very nice both in the restuarant and bar That's all the positives Unfortunately for us there were too many negatives The accommodation is in several blocks we were in block B which was for us a long way from the restaurant so quite alot of walking involved The very worse thing are the slopes and stairs None of the stairs have hand rails The one and only small pool bar (more a large serving hatch) Was located up some very rickety wooden stairs again no handrails we thought at first there would be another proper air conditioned bar with a lounge to enjoy but no such luck the pool bar was the only one there are no waiters asking you what you would like to drink the only service is youngsters collecting glasses and cleaning tables which they did very efficiently None of this would be relevant in a 2 or 3 star hotel but its classed as 4 plus with jet2 and a 5 on the hotels own website Then the restaurant saga you collect your food on the ground level then have to climb 2 flights of stairs to the seating area. There is a small lift but difficult to use when carrying plates of food I did attempt the stairs once but still no handrails You may think I am being petty but it's listed as a 4 star plus with jet2 and as a 5 star on the hotels own web site as I've already mentioned We have travelled over most of Europe over many years Icluding 5 other occasions to zakynthos and other greek islands so do have some experience of what to expect It could be wonderful with some major work ,like turning the virtually unused burger bar into a proper bar/lounge We particularly want to thank the guy i think his name was Nico who gave us a lift in the golf buggy if he saw my husband struggling with the slopes as he has some walking difficulties This is my honest report on the hotel Very Dissapointed for the reasons I've stated"

"Positives - the staff are brilliant, food good quality, clean. Negatives - the rooms are not furnished as suites, almost monastic. Not a comfortable chair to be found, the dinning chairs too low and indent into bare legs. Buffet on ground floor - dinning room up 2 flights of steps. NO handrails anywhere! Very dangerous. The pool had a thick yellow scum around the edge all week. The sun beds are 6 inches off the ground, not easy to get on and off. Swim up rooms are on the public side of rooms - no privacy. Al a carte restaurant a burger bar! Only open 3times per week."

"We enjoyed our recent 10 day stay at this hotel and we can't thank the staff enough for their welcome, hospitality and friendliness - from reception staff to housekeeping, waiters to bar staff and everyone else we had contact with (and a special mention for 'Nico's taxi!'). Our shared pool was a lovely temperature and exceptionally clean, we enjoyed morning sun on the terrace with very comfortable sun loungers. The all-inclusive drinks were, in our opinion, very good though we didn't try the cocktails. The ongoing building work did involve some noise and problems with beach access but Tui had told us of this before we went so we have no reason for complaint. The food was very good with a lot of local dishes and the portions were generous, sadly (as has been mentioned in other reviews) it was usually only lukewarm. The room was comfortable and carefully cleaned each day but lacked storage space, not a single drawer just a few shelves. Entertainment was very low-key and that suited us just fine, it would have been lovely if the daytime bar could have remained open into the evening because there was a really nice seating area there which would have made a nice alternative to the pool bar. All in all we had a good time and enjoyed the holiday."
