Caretta Paradise and Waterpark

"On our last day and it has been a lovely holiday. We have a family swim up room which was definitely worth it and in a great location, just up from the water park. The room has two single beds with a door to a double bedroom with a TV and hairdryer, leading out to the terrace with a table and 4 chairs and then 2 sun beds, parasol and table at the pool. The air con in the room works very well. Housekeeping came every day but sometimes took used towels and didn’t replace them meaning I’ve had to call down to reception a few times to request more. Have currently been left with no loo roll or hand soap after the housekeeper had been so have had to call down again. Beds are changed every two days. The food has been okay, it is repetitive as is expected with all inclusive but you can always find something to eat. Not really eaten much from the snack bars except ice cream which is lovely. We ate in one of the bookable restaurants, Rice & Spice which was really nice and a change from the repetitiveness, gorgeous views from here too. We also ate out one evening at Noka just outside the main entrance to the hotel. This was lovely and the staff were fabulous! The drinks here could be better in my opinion, cocktails are very sweet with little alcohol and the beer is just ok. White wine is not the best. The water park is fun, 5 big slides which my boys were always on and an area for smaller kids just next to it. Lots of sun-beds in that area too. Entertainment is great for little kids with a mini disco each night, but not really tailored to older kids and not much fun for teens, which I have. There is a fun park which is not part of the all inclusive and they have inflatables, trampolines, amusements and a bar. There are plenty of sun beds for all pools of which there are 5 throughout the complex. We never had a problem finding any. Staff are all friendly and reception very helpful. The beach is situated a short walk down from the hotel, with lovely views from here. Bit of a steep walk back though so might be an issue for those with mobility issues."

"For anyone planning a holiday here please do it…. I was so nervous about coming here after I booked as I had seen a lot of bad reviews and honestly it’s nothing like the bad reviews, we got here late Monday night and they had kept the main restaurant open for us, the lady at the main reception was so lovely, this is my first ever family holiday with my 16 year old and 13 year old and both of them are never bored they are always in one of the many pools or the water slides… both of my girls are not so good with food but they have both found things to eat at restaurants and are always at the snack bar and getting ice cream… we are in a family room and it’s perfect for us always clean and tidy… my kids have asked to come here again next year…. A holiday is what you make it… I’m so so glad that I didn’t let the bad reviews put me off I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends…."
