White Olive Premium Laganas

"We’ve just returned from a week away at White Olive Premium, and here is what we have taken away from our lovely trip. Location: The hotel is in a great location. The strip is about at 10-15 minute walk, with plenty of quieter bars and restaurants on its way if you prefer this. The beach is the same distance and again, packed with bars and restaurants that cater to all types oh holidaymakers. It’s also just a 15 minute drive from the airport, which is an added bonus. Food and Drink: We were part of the all inclusive package, which included food, drinks and snacks daily. We found the food to be rather nice. We were extremely impressed with the variety, there were different meats each night, a full salad bar, plus pastas and a dessert section. I wouldn’t say the food is outstanding, but we were much happier with it compared to previous all inclusive see have attended. The drinks are great, cocktail menus, self serve beer and wine and plenty of spirits to choose from. The main problem we had with this hotel was the bar area. There’s two bars, one at the pool which is open 10.00-19.00 and one at a second pool, further away, which is open 12.00-23.00. The second pool bar is about a 3-5 minute walk away from the restaurant. So when we went for dinner, we had to take two drinks with us. We would’ve liked to have stayed in the restaurant for a longer leisurely dinner however, If you prefer something that isn’t soft, wine or beer, it’s not ideal. This also applies to the entertainment on the terrace, where there is no bar anywhere near. Entertainment: The entertainment at the hotel was rather disappointing. The two animators were great, providing Zumba and aqua aerobics daily at the pool. There is live music on a Friday and a Saturday. There is also mention of quizzes, bingo, and karaoke however, these are not greatly advertised and so these weren’t very busy. Rooms: We found this hotel to be extremely clean. Our room was spotless on arrival, and after housekeeping each day. We stayed in room 3006 which was an absolutely perfect location, on the ground floor and seconds walk away from everything you need. It was very spacious and provides you with all you need for your stay. Our only problem was the shower, which didn’t hold the water. It all flooded out onto the floor and turned our bathroom into a wet room. The air conditioning is also set to 23 degrees, and doesn’t go below this. So we found our room quite warm most nights, and it was frustrating not being able to cool it down. Overall, we very much enjoyed our stay here, and would recommend it to others. The problems we had were easily overcome - and it has plenty going for it."

"A big shout out and thank you to all the reception staff including Vasiliki and Simon who couldn't have been more helpful and supportive after my daughter and her friends had their phones, money and cards stolen on the beach. They kept the lines of communication open with worried parents at home, nothing was too much trouble and they provided comfort and reassurance. Fantastic guys thank you so much."

"he hotel is clean and well maintained. The staff is extremely friendly. The layout of the different facilities is a bit unusual, but you can figure it out without much trouble. The rooms are large compared to typical seaside hotels. There are four swimming pools, so everyone can find something for themselves. The air conditioning works well. The downside is the breakfast. It is very poor with a limited selection. Lunches are rated 2/5. Dinners 3/5 – the best of the meals, as something new is served every day, but still not of the highest quality. Another downside is the poorly sealed doors and the large number of young guests who make noise early in the morning and at night. If someone is awake and goes out, you will also wake up because the doors cannot be closed quietly. You can even hear table football games ringing at night. The bathroom smells from the sewage system, and of course toilet paper cannot be flushed down the toilet 🤣. The beach is about 300 meters from the hotel. It is sandy but covered with a large number of shells and stones that your feet will not appreciate 🤣. As for the island, the village is very poorly developed."
