Marelen Hotel

The Marelen Hotel is a family-run affair that’s won a ton of awards and recently been refurbished. It’s got a great setting, just a five-minute walk from Caretta Beach, Zante’s famous turtle nesting spot. And the bright light of Kalamaki aren’t much further on. This is a peaceful property, designed in a traditional Greek style – think pastel-hued walls and terracotta rooftops, all spread among gardens of palm trees.

The outdoor scene promises something for everything. There are three pools, including an adults-only number, one just for little ones and another for both. Tots will adore the sweet splash park, too, which comes with slides, spray fountains and tipping buckets.
