Diana Palace Hotel

"We visited the Diana Palace during our trip to Greece after checking out of our hotel at 10am. It was an incredibly hot day, and as we were travelling with our five-month-old baby, we asked whether we could briefly use the air-conditioned hotel lobby to feed him, as very few of the nearby bars, restaurants or beach clubs offered air conditioning. We were told we could use the lobby for €100, and that we would also need to purchase food from the restaurant on top of this. I completely appreciate that we were not guests of the hotel and wouldn’t have expected to use the hotel’s facilities freely. However, €100 simply to sit in the lobby for a short period while we fed our baby felt incredibly excessive, particularly given the circumstances and the extreme heat. There was also another couple complaining at reception during the short time we were there, which unfortunately added to the overall impression. In total, I spent approximately 20 minutes at the hotel, but the experience was enough to make me unlikely to consider booking Diana Palace on a future visit to Greece. A little understanding and hospitality would have gone a long way."

"That experience was one of the best ever that we received through our Greek adventure. Smooth check-in upon arrival, very kind staff showed around this lovely hotel. Lovely food served 4 times/day via all inclusive. Drinks are OK although no premium included. Beer is a nice smooth lager which goes well after food or in the pool. Each pool has a bar with 5-6 different coktails included. Most of them taste cheap though. They change the menu everyday so we never got bored of anything. Breakfast is similar each day. Pools are clean, sunbeds are comfy. Place has a lovely, modern atmosphere. Rooms are big enough, bathroom is perfect with a clean shower. Daily cleaning provided. Noise level is fine but you will hear a lot of people are loud. Located in the heart of Argassi, perfect to reach all services. Value is in the top ranks. The only reason I give 4 star is the closing time of the pool. Both get closed at 6pm which I find very early as in the greek summer heat most people want to cool down after 6pm as well."

Review of Diana Palace Pending review Reviewed ⭐ Our Wonderful Week at Diana Palace Hotel – Highly Recommended Our stay in room 509 - swim up room 26/08/26- 02/09/26 We stayed at Diana Palace Hotel for one week and from the moment we arrived we felt genuinely welcomed. Jevan collected our bags and Lou greeted us with such warmth that we instantly felt like special guests. Even though our flight was late the team made sure we had food before showing us to our swim up room. The room was immaculate and genuinely one of the cleanest rooms we have ever stayed in in Greece. It was absolutely perfect and made for a lovely surprise for my partner who had no idea I had upgraded us. Waking up each morning to warm sandy sunshine was bliss. 🍽️ Dining and Staff The dining room staff were consistently attentive, friendly staff and always smiling , always having a quick chat , They made both me and my partner feel welcome every single day whether it was breakfast, lunch or dinner. The kitchen team and the chefs deserve huge praise too. The food was delicious, fresh and plentiful. Some people say there is not much choice but honestly there is more than enough for everyone to find something they enjoy. I especially loved the cheeseboard every night with grapes. I never left a meal hungry and often left too full. 🎉 Entertainment and Atmosphere This hotel caters for all ages, young and old, and everyone seemed to be having a great time. There was daytime entertainment with two entertainers who kept guests laughing and joining in. Even though I did not take part I really enjoyed watching from the poolside. There was also evening entertainment every night, like bingo, discos, live music, and it was great fun. Everyone had a great time and again all ages catered for, young, old, and in between! It was just a really nice atmosphere of lots of different ages that come together. Thank you to the bar staff who supplied us with iced coffee and a shot of Baileys every day. You were wonderful. 🧼 Hotel Grounds and Facilities The hotel is spotless. Every member of staff is a credit to the management, hardworking, kind and always smiling despite the heat. The cleaners made our room perfect every single day and the pool attendant cleaned our swim up pool every morning without fail. The pools were lovely and clean with plenty of space. We mainly used the main pool but the second pool looked just as inviting. Ps I went in both pools and nothing turned green so not sure what people are on about !! The bar staff were constantly on the go serving guests patiently and reception was always available whenever we needed anything. ♿ Accessibility My partner is not very mobile or me and this hotel was perfect for us. There are ramps everywhere so we never had to worry about steps. The walk in pool with handrails was ideal and made swimming easy and safe. Anyone with mobility issues would feel comfortable here. I unfortunately broke my wrist when I was here, not at the hotel but on a beach. Yes, I shouldn’t go near rocks. but I still could get in the pool because I could use the handrail and the steps and sit on the steps. Children were in the pool, young old, and everyone respected each other. It was such a relaxed atmosphere every day. There was no rush for some beds. There was plenty of them. There was soft music in the background. There was lots of shady areas and parasols, and there was also seating area around the bars. and the dining area, so there was plenty of chairs to sit on. So no, no mad rush to get from bed, which is what people worry about, not that I did! 🌍 Location The location in Argassi is ideal. Shops, restaurants and the beach are all within easy reach. We hired a car for a short time but mostly enjoyed staying in the village because everything we needed was right there. And Pete’s tours is highly recommended for a boat trip great guy been doing it for 30 years even let me on the boat with my hand in plaster ! We had a great time ! 💛 Exceptional Care When it was time to leave I had unfortunately injured my arm and was in plaster. The staff went above and beyond to help us. They carried our bags, helped us to the taxi and made sure I was okay. Their kindness meant so much. Achilles, the site manager, spoke to my partner and he was so proud of his team. We told him that his staff are an absolute credit to this hotel and that they keep it running like the amazing place it is. I have never stayed in such a clean, friendly and lovely hotel in Greece. 🌟 Final Thoughts Diana Palace Hotel is a truly wonderful place to stay. The staff, the cleanliness, the food, the entertainment, the accessibility and the atmosphere were exceptional. This hotel caters for everyone and we would not hesitate to stay here again. Thank you so much to every single member of staff. Unfortunately I have broken my wrist in two places since returning home and I miss you all so much. We cannot wait to come back. Hopefully, without A breaking my wrist this time 🤦🏼‍♀️ which I must add, I did it on the seaside, not at the hotel Thank you once again. You’re all amazing.
