Idyllic escape in the Skopelos countryside
Seeking a bit of peace and quiet for your summer holiday? You’ll find it at the charming four-star Alkistis Apartments. Once the site of an old olive grove, it’s set in picturesque countryside just outside Skopelos Town, amongst beautifully maintained gardens of flowers, citrus fruits, and olive trees.
The huge outdoor pool is undoubtedly the hotel’s focal point. It’s flanked by sun loungers on both sides, so finding a quiet spot to catch some rays is never difficult. There’s a swim-up bar, too, serving up ice-cold cocktail and snacks, and a smaller pool reserved just for little ones.
For a true taste of Skopelos, head to the hotel à la carte restaurant, which serves up delicious home-cooked cuisine at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Overlooking the pool in an elegant dining room, the vibe here is more on the relaxed side of things. But if you’d rather head out for dinner, you’re in luck. The hotel puts on a shuttle bus service to Skopelos Town and back, free of charge.
With its spacious accommodation, countryside setting, and close proximity to Skopelos Town, Alkistis Apartments ticks all the right boxes for a slower-paced family holiday.
