Skiathos Avaton Suites and Villas

"My partner and I stayed for about ten days at this hotel, which clearly exceeded our expectations. Giant rooms furnished in an excellent way with a private outdoor hydromassage: a real treat! Rich breakfast that you can have poolside and towels for the beach/pool left clean outside the room every day. With a short walk you can reach both the bus stop and Megali Ammos beach, although I still recommend renting a scooter or other vehicle because there is an uphill climb to do on the way back. But what made our vacation even more beautiful and unique was the extraordinary kindness of the staff. A GIANT THANK YOU goes to Eleni and Ioanna, always available to help us with any problem or doubt; thanks to them our vacation was even more beautiful! 🫶 Also for the rental, I recommend you ask them directly so you can have the scooter ready outside the hotel in the morning and also be able to leave it there at the end of the vacation. The airport transfer is also excellent. Thanks for everything, a magnificent place we hope to return to! 🩷"

"Avalon suites and villas is lovely. We stayed in a room with an outdoor jacuzzi. It has stunning views and just about everyhing has been thought of. The room was huge, it was extremely clean, bed was very comfortable and there were loads of coat hangers for once! The food is really good and pool is very nice. We were always able to get a sunbed. Eleni is a real gem- any queries, she know the answers, any problems, she gets it sorted immediately. You are always welcomed with a big, warm smile. She is extremely professional but also caring- she genuinely wants you to have the best holiday possible. Because of this, we left as friends even though we started as strangers. Avaton suites and villas felt like home to us."

"We stayed in the Avaton Suites for four nights. Pros:- Large bedroom with sofa, dressing table, large wardrobe with full length hanging all beautifully furnished. Jacuzzi and large terrace with sunbed and table and chairs Mirror , dressing table with electric sockets and chair Good breakfast Decaffeinated coffee at breakfast but not with Nespresso machine in bedroom Good quality sunbeds, pleasant breakfast and bar area Buggy for trips back up steep hill from hotel Excellent staff Able to book transfers from suites to town. Nearest beach with sun beds ten minutes away Beautiful views of sea and surrounding area Bus stop five minutes from hotel Cons:- Small bathroom and shower which had black mould Only one sun-bed on terrace Daily cleaning was perfunctory Sometime sun beds were reserved Town was twenty /twenty five minutes walk"
