Skiathos Avaton Suites and Villas

"Amazing stay at Avaton suites, we had the Royal suite with a sea view which was perfect. Rooms are cleaned daily, the beds are comfortable and the whirlpool bath an added luxury. Run by Eleni and her wonderful staff Alonzo and Anita, all attentive and friendly, Eleni given many tips and booking restaurants. Breakfast was served with a 3 hour window, with a large selection of top quality products. The location was perfect, with a 5-10 min walk to the beautiful beach and 10-15 min walk into Skiathos town. We loved our stay and highly recommend"

"All I can say about this place is WoW. In fact, I'm loathe to write a review in case it gets too busy and I can't get back in. We arrived as a group of 3 friends around 10pm and had a drink at the Avaton Hotel before being taken by golf buggy up to the suites. The room was massive with a hot tub on the balcony. Lovely and clean, with a bottle of water and coffee machine. The next day we enjoyed breakfast by the pool which was a lovely tranquil place with a fantastic view. Breakfast selection was varied and great service by the staff. They even toast your bread, no waiting by the horrid toast machine. Nobody was around the pool and it was great to see no towels reserving beds at 9.30am. Not that we really went around the pool as the island has so much to offer that we were constantly off exploring. It was just nice to get back for a relaxing drink at the end of the day before going out for dinner. The hotel is up a steep hill but the golf buggy can take you up/down. It's a 10 minute wall to town with lots of bars and restaurants. We were at bus stop 5 and visited lots of places along the route. Overall, a fantastic place to stay and am looking at bringing my husband next year as I can't fault the place. Big thank you to Eleni and the staff as you make this place so special."

"Just back from our week in lovely Skiathos , and wanted to say a massive thank you to Elina and the team for making our stay so enjoyable. The suites is set beautifully at the top of a hill giving lovely views out to see , it’s lovely a peaceful up there you really do feel away from it all, however in reality the beach and supermarket is a short (but steep) walk down the hill and the tavernas stretch from there to the town which is about 15 mins on foot. Our room was fantastic, lovely comfy bed, great shower and again was a peaceful haven. It was well cleaned everyday by the house keeping crew who do a great job it hot temperatures. Front of house Elini and the team are freindly and welcoming and helped us with transport and advice on the island and places to visit (our first time). We were totally spoilt at breakfast with a delicious wide range to choose from something for everyone. Really enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend . Don’t let the hill put you off as if you don’t fancy busting your calf’s they’ll whizz you up and down in the resort golf buggy no problem right through until 1am. Our favourite trip of the week was out to the dog rescue centre to help walk the dogs and support their good work. efharisto all"
