"We spent a week at this charming boutique hotel and loved every moment. The room is spotlessly clean, the décor is elegant and calming, with thoughtful touches throughout that make the whole place feel special. The staff Maria, Nik, Yanis and George deserve particular praise, attentive, friendly, and always ready with a smile. They provided excellent recommendations of where to eat and places to visit. They even arranged our quad to be delivered to the hotel. Their care and professionalism created such a warm atmosphere and made our stay feel effortless. There is quite a steep hill to the hotel but we soon got used to it and managed no problem, and I have angina! We had an infinity pool on our balcony. Because it was early season, it was very cold so i only got to go in up to my knees. My husband was braver and said it was fine once your body got used to it! Apparently the hot tubs are heated so this would have been a better choice for us with it being early season. We would definitely recommend eating at Lyhnari taverna ..a recommendation from Nik and it didnt disappoint. We ate here on three occasions and the hosts Dimitri and his wife were so welcoming. They even gave us a present on our last evening, a jar of oregano picked from the Skiathos mountains… we have used it several times, it is delicious and fragrant. We spent two wonderful mornings walking the dogs at the Skiathos dog shelter, such an amazing place , very welcoming and ran by wonderful people. I would definitely recommend getting a quad or a car to go here as it’s quite a trek from the bus stop. Wr followed this by a visit to the beautiful Monastery. We will definitely go back to this beautiful island and in particular this gorgeous hotel with outstanding service and a welcoming, personal touch. We left feeling refreshed, (the bed is so comfortable), appreciated, and already planning our return."

"From the moment of arrival we felt all the staff were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The cleanliness of all areas is 110% The views are magnificent from the rooms, bar and pool area. Breakfast a good variety…. Maybe fresh melon would be nice though. And Bar food excellent whether for lunchtime or evening ( we did both) The only drawback is if you have mobility issues the hotel is situated up a steep hill, Ok going down but certainly taxing going up…. However Taxis are only €10 and so worth it."

"We had the most perfect, relaxing week at Poseidon. From the time we arrived we felt very welcome and right at home. Everybody was helpful, friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was comfortable, spotless and cleaned every day. A slight issue with our shower, nothing major, was sorted so quickly and we were given a bottle of wine and huge fruit bowl which was such a lovely touch and really unexpected. Exceptional service. The breakfast was a really good spread and had something to suit everyone. The pool area was excellent, the view fabulous, the drinks cold and refreshing, the food superb and all the staff were always happy to chat. The location was ideal, 5-10 min walk in to Skiathos town and the same to the beach with the bus stop nearby for other beaches. Yes the hill is steep but manageable if you're prepared for it. We will definitely return"
