Fengeros Village

"Just returned home from a lovely week at Fengeros Village. Stayed in room 21, at the back of the hotel, lovely bright room , very clean. Stunning view. The whole place is spotless. Stamos and Alexandra and their team are great hosts. Yes its up a hill and there is lots of steps but worth it for the view. We would 100% return, as very close to town and the beach."

"My wife and I booked a holiday for late September at short notice so had limited availability. We booked Ferengos Village,with its 2star rating, with some trepidation. We needn't have worried. It is basic, but a very friendly family run hotel. Stamos and his family/staff are all very keen to ensure their guests are well looked after . The rooms are very clean, and even have a kettle, which is more than our 5star hotel on Samos had! The breakfasts cater to British tastes where ingredients allow, and the omelettes were freshly cooked and tasty. As mentioned in other reviews it is a long climb ( approximately 350 metres from the bottom of the drive) and then 20+ steps to the lower rooms. If you are travelling with Jet2 beware! They deliver your luggage direct to the hotel on arrival, but leave you to get your heavy cases back to the bottom of the hill for departure. Not easy for the elderly or those with mobility issues. Stacks told us Easy jet deliver and collect luggage so next time I know who I'd book with. If you're looking for a no frills, good value holiday on Skiathos it's certainly worth looking at Ferengos Village."

"What a lovely family run hotel. It's not fancy but it's clean, not far to walk into town and do a nice bar service. The family will make you feel like you are home and the rooms are good because you can have your own little terrace to enjoy of an evening if you don't want to be in the bar."
