"Very disappointed, room had a stunning view and decent telly but that was it. It absolutely stunk, so opened all the doors, nope couldn’t use any balcony as every single person around us was chain smoking on their balcony’s. Ok not purely the hotels fault, but there should be non smoking areas. The bathroom was very bad, the hook that the shower should be on wasn’t there and plastic curtains stuck to you too is gross. My son’s room was covered in thick dust. It was just a rotten place to have to be in, and it rained non stop, so we were stuck there. The breakfast was vile, so we got over early and it was still stone cold! We even had, what looked like mould in the orange juice. I don’t understand the high reviews. It’s got a fancy lift, a nice pool area and bar, but that’s it. The rooms are extremely dated. We could have stayed in an air bnb for a quarter of the price, but didn’t because of the excellent reviews here. Be warned."

"Spacious and clean two bedroom with a large balcony. The surroundings are beautiful with great views. A steep climb from the road but there is a lift so accessible. The family who runs the hotel are very friendly and welcoming. Great for relaxation but also convenient for outings such as Skiathos town. I traveled with my two teenage daughters and we had dinner twice at the hotel restaurant twice in one week - definitely worth a visit!"

"Great place, great location and the pictures doesnt lie. Bourgainvilla flowers everywhere. And great view from the hotel area and from many of the apartment terraces/balconies. Some noise from the main road down from the hotel, so higher up is better or at least less traffic noise. We did not spend much time at the hotel pool, bar or restaurant though, as so much to go see and explore on the island and surounding area. We had a rented car but had really not needed it for most of the days, as the island is small and busses are frequent, at least along the main road. Went on a couple of boat tours, was great. Also try renting a small motor boat for 1 day at Stefano’s boat hire (find it at next beach towards southwest from the hotel). They have small 30 hp boats can be rented without boat license."
