The adults-only SMY Mediterranean White Santorini can be found in a peaceful spot in the village of Agia Paraskevi, just a five-minute walk to one of the island's iconic black sand beaches. If you fancy trying out some local shops and restaurants, hop in a taxi to nearby Kamari – it’ll take about five minutes. Or, get your steps in and walk along the coast for 40 minutes.

The pool area is a great place to spend the day. It’s a rectangular number that’s set into a roomy sun deck, which is scattered with loungers and parasols. You’ll also find stylish wooden sunbathing platforms topped with daybeds, which jut out over the pool’s edge.

The poolside bar will keep drinks and snacks coming throughout the day. At mealtimes, you can head to the on-site restaurant, which serves up buffet spreads of Mediterranean dishes for breakfast and dinner.

"The SMY Mediterranean hotel is an excellent property. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful. This looks like a true five star resort. Although it is not close to Oya or Ferreira, you can always get the bus to go to Fira bus station, which connects to the rest of the island If you are thinking of just doing Oia and Fira then I would not recommend this location. Only good if you are renting a car so that you can go around easily. Taxis are very expensive from here."

"Our stay in Smy Mediterranean White Santorini was absolutely incredible. The staff could not have been more amazing and made the trip even better by their friendly greetings and conversations every day. The hotel was cleaned to a high standard all around. The main pool area was such a lovely place to relax and go for a swim. The location is right next to the airport runway but flights aren’t too early or too late, we actually enjoyed being able to watch the planes taking off and landing each day. I would recommend renting a quad/car when staying here, we rented a quad and it was a great way to get around the island and only 13 minutes to the free parking in Fira. Special thank you to Maria at the front desk, who made our trip that little bit more special with her daily chats as we came and went."

"What can I say, we came to this hotel for our Honeymoon and cannot fault anything about it. The room was clean and as shown on the picture, we had a slight issue with the safe but the staff assisted quickly and efficiently. The hotel was stunning, the pools were clean and the staff (especially Maria) were so helpful and friendly. They assisted with arranging us a Catamaran tour, hiring a car for the day and offering restaurant recommendations. Anyone looking for a romantic trip away in Santorini should definitely consider this place!"
