Hotel Andreas

"It was our first time of visiting Santorini, and stayed at the Andrea's Hotel in Kamari. It's a 2-3 minute walk into the centre, where there is an abundance of restaurants to suit all pockets and tastes. You can enjoy a traditional Greek night, romantic meal, Chinese restaurant, Karaoke or a simple takeaway. Honestly tge list is endless! We found a Delicatessen shop opposite the Bus Stop, where they sell the most delicious sandwiches, baguettes, cakes, ice-cream, croissants, hot and cold drinks. The hotel is gorgeous especially the grounds and the gardens. The plants and flowers were all in full bloom when we were there, where you could enjoy a lovely cold beer in the lovely gardens and surroundings. The Hotel staff were so friendly nothing was too much trouble, there was plenty of choice from the continental breakfast, fresh fruit, cereals, fruit juice, tea, coffee, hot and cold milk. Your towels were changed every 2nd day and your sheets every 4th day. The bedrooms are spacious, light and airy. Cleaned daily. Plenty of sunbeds so need to queue 1st thing in the morning, the Swimming pool was renovated last year (2025). We felt so chilled out when we came home, hoping to go back next year, same hotel. "We stayed at Hotel Andreas in Kamari, Santorini and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. It is a traditional Greek family run hotel, and the family who run it genuinely couldn’t do enough for you throughout our stay. The hotel is set in a quiet location, which made it feel very relaxing, yet it was still in an amazing spot for getting around and enjoying everything Santorini has to offer. The bus stop was a 2 minute walk away, and the beach, restaurants, bars and shops were less than 5 minutes walk. It felt like a perfect balance between peace and convenience. The hotel itself was spotlessly clean, and you could really see the care and pride that goes into maintaining it. The pool area looked like it had been completely renovated recently and felt fresh and well looked after. Although there weren’t lots of sunloungers, we never had a problem getting four together, which made it easy for us to relax as a group. It has a lovely traditional but modern feel overall, combining authentic Greek character with comfortable, updated facilities. We stayed in room 210, which was excellent. It had a large balcony with a table and chairs as well as two sunloungers, which was a real bonus and made it a great space to relax The bathroom was perfect, featuring a powerful walk-in shower that was both modern and very comfortable to use. The only slight downside was the breakfast, which was a bit repetitive with not a huge amount of choice. That said, it was perfectly adequate and everything was fresh, it’s probably fairly typical of what you would expect from a smaller, family run Greek hotel. Overall, we had a fantastic stay. The warmth of the family, the cleanliness, the peaceful location, the lovely pool area, and the comfortable room all combined to make Hotel Andreas a place we would definitely be happy to return to! The hotel was one of the cheaper ones we looked at and was far nicer than some of the other more expensive ones we viewed, some of which we saw during our stay"
