"A lovely , chilled vibe hotel. We had a beach side view which was stunning and could listen to the sea all day! Bedrooms were cleaned and replenished daily , the breakfast was good quality and varied from fresh fruit to bacon and eggs, you could even do a Greek salad! The hotel was well positioned at the end of the front , you could walk along the beachfront and peruse all the different menus on offer. Lots of restaurants , all great quality and reasonable offering traditional foods. A meal and drinks for 4 was around £80 - £140 depending on no of courses and drinks. We tried 5 or 6 on our visit and all were great. Shampoo/conditioner and body lotion , shower cap and vanity kit in the room Beach towels available daily. Good working fridge for water and drinks. Mini markets for water and snacks literally 2-5 mins walk from the hotel rooms. Lots of pools so no issues with sunbeds although the pools were cool! Aeroplanes didn’t bother us, quite cool to watch."

"This hotel looks just like the photos - it’s gorgeous. It’s in a great location, next to the beach and close to an abundance of restaurants and shops. We booked a beach-facing room, which came with an incredible view of the beach where you’re just 20 steps from the sand - it’s idyllic. If you’re staying by the pool, the sun loungers are luxurious and comfortable with a choice of 7 pools to lie around! Get up early, go to the beach and watch the sunrise, it’s an incredible experience. The planes flying overhead were definitely a novelty for us. It’s loud for max 10 seconds as it passes by to land at the airport. It’s over and done with before you’ve even realised it’s passing. The breakfast was just okay. It’s pretty much the same offering every day but there was enough of a choice to choose something to have for breakfast. The rooms are clean and white with basic features. The bed is comfortable as are the pillows. The TV’s have a scart socket so are slightly older but do the job. The bathroom was disappointing - it was small and the shower pressure was poor, at its strongest, the shower head reached watering can levels. Our biggest disappointment was the location of our room. It was connected to the restaurant which meant the speaker system played directly through the walls into our room. It also meant the staff break area was directly outside of our room. When you opened the front door, you’d see staff taking their breaks/smoking etc - which they’re perfectly entitled to, just wish we didn’t have to see it every time we left the room or opened the bathroom window! My partner and I were feeling a little unwell for parts of the week so were having early nights (10pm) to rest up for the next day. Unfortunately the restaurant turned the music UP at 11pm while they were clearing and tidying up for the evening. It wouldn’t have been too bad if it was the relaxing music you’d expect in a restaurant but this was full-on electronic dance music with a beat that is still ringing in my head. I asked 3 or 4 times to please simply turn the music down or change to something different. I had to go to the door at one point and ask them to turn the music down, which they did… for 10 minutes. The hotel did respond by sending a bottle of sparkling wine to the room. I’m teetotal so I gifted it to a neighbouring room to enjoy but appreciated the gesture. Having walked the resort, I can see this affects literally just one room as it is the only one connected to the restaurant. We had a late flight so the hotel allowed us to keep the room and check out late which was a great help. The reception team were mostly attentive and very friendly. We used the concierge service to hire a car for 3 days and the lady working the desk was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. Overall, the stay was nice and I’m sure would have been amazing if we’d managed to get a better sleep. My advice would be to stay at Costa Grand Resort & Spa but do NOT stay in Room 123!"
