Infinity Suites and Dana Villas

"We got married at Dana Villas recently. We booked through a wedding planner so not direct with Dana so booked our 3 night stay with them separately. The views of the hotel are amazing, breakfast was great and the pool area was beautiful. There are a lot of steps down to reception then even more down to the pool area but we were prepared for these and I managed them in my wedding dress and heels so to us that wasn’t a problem. The rooms are extremely overpriced though, the cave pool suite that we had booked was very expensive. The room was very unique, clean and amazing views of the Caldera but there were small details that you don’t expect when you have paid so much money. The pool was not heated and the jets did not work, there was a towel rail hanging off the wall and the white floors were stained yellow. When you pay so much you expect little details like this to be taken care of. Even though we didn’t book our wedding directly with Dana we had made it clear on booking that the stay was for our wedding and when asked when checking in if we were staying for a special occasion we said again. We didn’t expect a lot but you would think as a couple spending a huge amount of money on the wedding venue/bar/hotel stay they would at least in some way try to make the stay extra special. Even if it was just a card in the room or breakfast brought to the hotel room (we did this but for an extra 25€). In the cave pool suite, don’t expect to be able to have a lie in as the house keeping room is right next door and they start at about 7am and we’re very noisy! Dana Villas will always be a special place for us but I would be reluctant to stay again as it is not worth what you pay."

"We have not stayed at the villas yet, but the service prior has surpassed expectations. I incorrectly booked the dates of our stay booking the month before in error. I received a welcome email which alerted me to my mistake one week prior to the booking which was the wrong dates (all my fault). We are travelling on an extended Northern Hemisphere holiday from Australia and with changes in flights due to the current war and our consistently poor exchange rate I was concerned at losing our money. I emailed Dana Villas and they have graciously changed the dates without any cost to us. This is very uncommon in today’s climate for businesses with clear cancellation rules to be so accommodating. I can only imagine what great service we will receive during our stay if this is any indication. Bravo Konstantinos for your help"
