Lindian Dream Seaside Resort

"We were really disappointed with our stay at Lindian Dream Seaside Resort. The location is great and there are plenty of sunbeds by the pool, but that's where the positives end. I’d honestly barely rate the rooms 3* let alone a 5* hotel. The bathrooms were awful, you didn’t have room to put much stuff (had to use the stool) - broken shower head, the shower tray backed up instantly so you were just stood in dirty water (even after being “fixed”) there was poor ventilation in the bathroom so it stank for hours of damp after showering. The whole hotel felt very tired — it genuinely needs a complete renovation inside. Some of the staff were lovely, but the reception team let the whole place down. Customer service there was poor; on one occasion a receptionist literally answered the phone mid-conversation while I was talking to her, which summed up the experience. In the end we cut our stay short and paid a lot extra to move to another resort, the manager did refund some of the tourist tax for the nights we didn’t stay but insisted we leave a good review despite all the problems, so this is my review which is vaguely positive. Location alone isn't enough to make up for the state of the rooms and the service at reception."

"This hotel is supposedly a 5-star property, but unfortunately, our experience was far from what you would expect from a hotel of this category. The room was extremely filthy and unpleasant, and we even found pests inside. What was particularly disappointing was the way the staff handled the situation. Despite bringing the pest issue to their attention, there was no proper response or serious effort to address the problem. The situation was simply not handled with the level of professionalism you would expect from a 5-star hotel. The manager was also very unfriendly and showed little understanding or willingness to help, which made an already unpleasant situation even worse. The breakfast was another major disappointment. For a hotel that presents itself as a 5-star property, the selection was surprisingly limited and underwhelming. It was nowhere near the standard we expected from a hotel of this supposed quality. Overall, this hotel falls far short of what I would consider 5-star standards. Cleanliness, pest control, customer service, and breakfast quality all need significant improvement. Based on our experience, I would not recommend staying here."

"I have just returned from a 6night holiday at this hotel. The hotel enjoys a delightful location overlooking the private beach. Hotel is spotlessly clean with a delightful pool area with comfortable sun beds with thick mattress and towels which are always available. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Excellent service from all staff. Restaurant area managed by Christoph, he sorted out a minor issue we had with no fuss. It was extremely disappointing to see the hotel using plastic straws. Drinks not cheap but this is common with this type of hotel. Worth buying reef shoes for swimming. We would look to return."
