"What can I possibly say about Lindian dream resort, outstanding, had the best week, congratulations to all your team, front of house and back of house staff, they are a credit to this hotel. The little treats and complimentary gifts left In your room are so thoughtful and a lovely touch. Lovely room also with a complimentary upgrade on arrival courtesy of the management, so many thanks for that first of many lovely touches. Staff so attentive and friendly, bring drinks and food ordered straight to your sunbed at the pool or on the beach. Beautiful pool never a problem getting a bed either at poolside or beach and towels on every bed including sunbeds on the beach, can help yourself to clean dry towels whenever needed also as readily available in boxes at the poolside. Showers poolside also along with toilets also. Hotel spotless, food excellent and lovely chilled atmosphere, if you are looking for a relaxing holiday this is for you, definitely recommended. "Just spent a week here for my 30th and it was incredible. Staff were all very welcoming and attentive, we got a room upgrade which was nice. The room was very clean and modern, housekeeping cleaned the room every single day, a small box of chocolates were delivered every evening and the chef baked me a cake from scratch for my birthday and it tasted great. Breakfast was very tasty, it did get a bit tedious towards the end of the holiday just due to eating the same thing every day but that can’t be helped. There were always plenty of sunbeds available either at the pool or the beach, you could order food/drink from your sunbed from one of the members of staff catering for everyone during the day. The sea was beautiful, but it wasn’t easy access to get into the sea due to the rocks but once we found the best way to get in and bought ourselves some water shoes, it was okay. Just be extra cautious when swimming out as there are more rocks along the way. I have never wanted to return back to the same hotel but this hotel I would in a heartbeat."

"• LINDEAN DREAM Hidden Gem on Rhodes? HIDDEN? a very clear „no“ is the answer. The resort is easy to find and accessable by car, taxi, bus, boat or whatever –it`s just not on the usual, clusterd „hotel strip“ with hundreds/thousands of tourists. (thankfully) Secluded and serene are the the words that fit best and for a really good reason, because privacy and tranquility are precious values and the people there do their utmost best to successfully ensure that you get just that. 5min walk to a bus station down the road and a trip to Lindos takes about 10-15min….Rhodos is about 1h20min away. Taxis and rental cars are available of course…both are quite reasonably priced as well. GEM?: „yes“, otherwise we would not pick it as our have-to get-back destination year after year. The hotel is located in the Bay of Navarone (the original shooting location of the 1961 blockbuster „Guns of Navarone“ starring Gregory Peck and Anthony Quinn). Remains of the original set are still there (nicely illuminated at night) and inhabited by the local gang of goats that offer a picturesque scene when they roam the area. The major feature is the tranquility of the whole resort which is not only due to the adults-only policy, but also has to do with the way the whole staff carry out their jobs and interact with the guests…..very, very attentive, friendly and professional attitude from room service, to F&B, from reception to management. Coming into the gates over decorative cobblestone floors you enter the reception area. From the coooled reception you can head towards the pool area and beach via a beautiful semi-archway passage that looks Roman or Greek with full view towards the blue sea…..quite a feeling….like Roman Gods walking towards the borders of their Empire. There is a wonderful marble fountain shortly before you head down the steps towards the pool….the gardeners used to fill it with water and flower pedals – not anymore (what a shame). The pool has been re-finished and now looks better than on most of the catalogue pictures. Enjoy a professional massage at poolside….great way to start a day. Pool Bar: We have never been able to withstand a chilled Ouzo and a portion of Gyros (either pork or squid) and salad/fries….simple, delicious and served with a smile……for a pool bar: really great/clean quality……salads are delicious. Food & Beverages: Breakfast – very relaxed and fully adequate with all a guest can expect. Lunch – see our Pool Bar comments…jummy. Dinner – dress code in force (thanks for that) and the food is wonderful….they used to have a Greek BBQ once a week and maybe still do – if you like lamb, go. Beach is relaxing/sand-pebble/clean and with enough space to accommodate all the guests without being crowded. Aqua-shoes are a necessity because the rocks can be a killer. We enjoyed recommending this home-away-from-home, but please stay away from this peaceful bit of heaven when we are there – which will be soon (yes, for the second time this year). We have fallen in love with the Island, the hotel, the staff, the adults-only tranquility and the location close to Lindos (go early mornings otherwise too crowded) and the sea-food restaurants on Lindos beach for the evening, even just for a drink."
