Family-friendly luxury in Greece
Whether you're treating the kids to a week in the sun or jetting off on an escape for two, Princess Andriana Resort and Spa could be just the luxury retreat you've been searching for. Plonked on Rhodes' Mediterranean coast – meaning calmer, warmer waters than other parts of the island – this place is a winner from the get-go.
So will you make for the beach or lounge by the pool? The main swim spot is a spacious, curvy number with plenty of sun loungers sprinkled 'round the edge. There's a kids' pool, too, and an all-day restaurant pitched up nearby to keep you well-fed and watered on those long, sunny afternoons. Six times a week the little ones can get stuck into the entertainment offering at the children's activity centre, while pool activities and other games to suit the whole family are a mainstay on the roster, too.
The star of the show might be the onsite water park, though. With more than a dozen slides to suit all ages (and thrill levels), there's sure to be plenty of fun in store. And with a separate splash zone with jets plus a kids' animation pool that suitable for tots aged two and up, the whole family can get involved in the fun.
For any gym bunnies, the fitness centre is well-stocked with a range of the usual suspects to help you work up a sweat. If it's serenity you're seeking, on the other hand, the aptly-named Euphoria Spa is the place for you. Lining up a sauna, steam room, and indoor pool, as well as a whole range of treatments and massages available to book, it's a sure-fire way to relax and unwind.
You'll be dining in style at the impressive choice of restaurants here. The main eatery is all about buffet spreads, with weekly themed dinners that'll have you cleaning your plate – and maybe heading up for round two! Elsewhere there are two other buffet spots – one dishing up barbecue-style fare six times weekly, and the other is a Tex-Mex themed joint. And with four à la carte restaurants on offer, too, you'll practically be spoiled for choice at mealtimes.
