Sunny Days Hotel

"The hotel is 3 stars, that is not for me, cold food, little choice. Dining room much too small for the number of guests. The dining room is on a busy road, so there is no quiet place to eat. The hotel consists of 5 blocks, so there are quite a few guests, there is 1 swimming pool which is far too small for so many guests. The beach is a shingle beach of at most 2 meters wide, but if you want to lie on pebbles, that's another drama. Shops are available directly from the hotel, but if you want to relax while shopping, that is quite a problem, as shops and restaurants are located along a very busy thoroughfare. Overall very disappointed and never again"

"Sunny Days is in a great location for the various bars, restaurants and beach. The atmosphere in and around the hotel was good. We had a spacious apartment which was an unexpected surprise with a view over the pool area. There was very little noise in the evening so we had a good nights sleep! The room was cleaned most days which was fine for us. In the afternoon they put out several plates of fruit which can be found to the left of the bar and it is free. Drinks in the vending machine near reception are much cheaper than at the bar. Beware of reserving your sun loungers in the morning. If you do not return within 15 minutes they will be removed. There is a sign at the bar. We did find it amusing to see people coming back from breakfast to find their towels removed and someone else on their loungers! However, some towels were removed within 5 mins. When you check in ask for your safe key otherwise, like us, you will have to come back to reception for it. This is free. Pool towels are also free at reception with a 10 euro deposit. Change as often as you like. We enjoyed our stay and being on the doorstep to everything. We would go back."

"It was not possible to review below zero.. For 4 days the room, the bathroom, and the towels were never cleaned despite me having asked. Poor quality food, it was not fresh daily but always the same over the various days. 2 items had disappeared from my room which, after various requests, reappeared, but without knowing what had happened. I would not return even if it were free. I do not understand how it can call itself 4 stars. The pool closes at 5:00 PM for no reason. NEVER AGAIN"
