Tsampika Hotel

"The Tsampika Hotel is a 3* small and friendly hotel. Run by a family. If you want, pizza, burgers and chips, this hotel isn't for you. Our experience as seasoned Greece travellers is of a clean and tidy hotel. Our rooms were of the kind displayed in the hotel photos. Rooms cleaned daily except Sundays which is quite common in Greece. Rooms were well appointed, beds comfortable and a good strong hot shower. Food is available at meal times, not throughout 24 hours, but was all fresh, hot and of good quality. Meals are typically Greek, with plentiful fresh salads, a choice or selection of pasta, meat and fish dishes and vegetables. Together with desserts. Breakfast hot typically British type cooked breakfast as well as continental cheeses and hams, yogurts and cereals. The pool is unheated but clean and large with children's areas. The only slight negative would be the lounges are tired and nearing replacement. The family all work throughout the various areas of the hotel. The situation of the hotel is approximately 10 mins walk to the nearest beach, sandy with a selection of bars and restaurants. Buses stops to Rhodes, Lindos etc are close by and make exploring the island easy. There are boat trips from faliraki. So all round a good comfortable base for exploring Rhodes."

"Here at the hotel now, first couple days good thought nice but that was not the case, was told after 3 days can't have spirits on the all inclusive till after 6 clock evening but had them in the afternoon day before, breakfast needs to be hotter I've not had none of there eggs,bacon, n beans as to cold. No bread for toast only rolls and I don't like toasted rolls. Food is mostly all the same every day only rice no potatoes, on all inclusive in don't know what other people expect through out the day but sometimes you get snacks in between meals no not here you get snacks between 5-5.30 and its only few biscuits or bits left over. Room is nice and clean but need to empty toilet bin every day but the cleaning staff don't do Sundays dirty toilet bins not nice. Wouldn't recommend this hotel will look else where if I come back to Rhodes"

"Travelled as a group of ladies celebrating a 50th birthday We had a warm welcome on arrival. The rooms were located near each other and were very clean and spacious. Food was fresh and plentiful we found out later that the olive oil and olives are from the family’s own olive grove. The selection of drinks on the all inclusive was good and served by the very friendly son in law of the family always happy to chat and serve us The staff work so hard, the restaurant pool and social areas are kept spotlessly clean all the time. They were always approachable and very happy to help with any questions we had about things we wanted to do. The pool is a lovely area. the hotel is in a great location just a short walk to all the bars restaurants and beach. Thank you to all the staff for making our break away such a wonderful time we loved every minute of it"
