Chilled out holiday base
If you’re looking for a laidback break in Rhodes, look no further. You’ll find the Evita Resort Hotel in quiet neighbourhood on the outskirts of Faliraki. Those that want to explore the local area can wander into the centre of town or to a few pebble beaches in less than 15 minutes. Faliraki is known for its nightlife, but there are also plenty of traditional bars, restaurants and shops, as well as some beautiful beaches that slope into the Aegean Sea.
Back at the hotel, you’ve got a couple of pools to choose from. One’s a large free-form number at the centre of the sun terrace – there’s a shallow area for little ones bolted onto it – and then there’s another pool with three brightly-coloured waterslides.
Activities wise, you can set up a game on the pool table, or play table tennis and volleyball. There’s also a kids’ club with a playground to keep younger ones busy. During the summer months you can expect regular evening entertainment, like live music, bingo, Greek dancing, and karaoke.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served at the main buffet restaurant, and you can pick up drinks and light bites at the poolside snack bar.
