Golden Days Aparthotel

"Awful hotel Advertised as self catering studio but told it was 2 star by the manager so did get any facing Greece l. Only a kettle but no plug socket to use for it. 2 cups and sauces, teaspoons and 2 small glasses and small refrigerator. No running water in the kitchen area sink, no pots or pans. Anything that requires washing has to be washed in bathroom sick. Not very hygiene if you want to wash a glass or cup. Managers are awful. They are rude and unprofessional. Pool area is not kept clean, bin I. Regularly overflowing with rubbish. Guest are sat with glasses on the pool edge, an accident waiting to happen. No food purchased outside the hotel allowed to eaten around the pool or public areas, even though the hotel doesn’t sell any food or snacks. Rooms are not clean and in need of maintenance and repairs. Bedding and towels are up to dry at the back of the hotel and they appear to spend more time on the floor than the drying racks. We received a change of towels in our room and the towels were still wet from being washed. Not a pleasant place to stay, I wouldn’t recommend staying at thdd weed Golden Days Hotel"

"Big NONONONO! Absolutely terrible! The room was not cleaned before our arrival and remained so during our stay. Found a piece of glass near the fridge ( that infuriated me as my old boy 2 years old could easily injure himself). They never vacuumed or mopped the room unless I specifically asked—only once in nine days. Their idea of cleaning was just taking out the trash and replacing towels every 2-3 days. There was no table or chairs in the room, the shower was blocked causing water to flood into the room, and we experienced 🐜 infestation. Ultimately, we all suffered from a terrible, itchy allergy! They don't deserve the customers!!"

"Staying here again as the people in afandou make you feel so welcome . Afandou is a greek village not a busy holiday hotel spot . So much better value . Hotel should be more than 2 stars as the cleaning team work really hard . Rooms have new air-conditioning and its worth every penny . Plenty off restaurant close by makalies is our favourite off the who village nothing too much trouble"
