Days at hotel are best spent ambling around the grounds, lazing by the pool, or indulging in some R&R at the spa. There’s a tennis court in one corner, where you can work on your backhand, and a playground in another where the kids can blow off a bit of steam. Visit during the busy summer months and a kids’ club is on hand during the day with a selection of organised fun and games for the cohort aged 3-12.
