Panorama Resort

"The accommodation is definitely 3*, but is clean. The views are stunning from many of the rooms. The main issue is the “resort” is on several levels, and there is NO lift/stair lift at all. When you move around the site, there is always at least 1 set of stairs to climb or descend. .So if someone has any mobility issues, I’d advise caution. Wherever you go on the site there are stairs, and they are quite steep. On the Jet2 site, I don’t think they mention this. On a minor issue, the pool bar was rarely open, so don’t count on this. I suggest taking your own water etc with you,"

"The Panorama Resort sits in an elevated position about a 10 minute walk from the seafront and beach.There is a hill,but it's not too onerous for those with a moderate level of fitness. The hotel is very clean,with well kept grounds and an attractive swimming pool with plenty of sunbeds.We were very happy with our accomodation which was a living room/kitchen with a separate bedroom.The bathroom was good,and didn't flood,unlike many in Greece. Breakfast was the same every day Cereal,yoghurt,fruit(usually bananas and apricots)ham,cheese,salad,a variety of breads and hot dishes.It was certainly enough to keep you going.The breakfast lady was very friendly,as were all the staff we encountered.Reception were helpful sorting us out a taxi to visit the nearby town of Methoni with its fabulous castle. Finikounda itself is a very laid back resort with enough bar and restaurant options.Beach bars were only just opening in the second week in June.We didn't hire a car-we never do on holiday-but it seemed bus services were limited and there are only a small selection of trips. Summing up,we loved the simple,relaxed vibe of both the hotel and the resort.It was a very chilled break which I would recommend to anyone."

"We didn’t realise we had booked last week of the hotel being open. Really pleased with size of room (112) Room cleaned daily. Breakfast only average. Location good except the hill to hotel not suitable if you have mobility issues. Scenery from balcony good as long as you don’t look down as it was a dumping area. End of our stay due to be picked up at 5pm but had to vacate room at 11am, we asked several times to stay in room & was told could only stay in room until 1pm for 20 euros we asked if time leaving room could be extended which was denied however, the only other 2 people being picked at 5pm was allowed to stay in their room until 5pm for 20 euros. When we returned from lunch at 1pm staff had started clearing away all outside furniture, you could tell they wanted to lock up. Customer Service disappointing, therefore would not return."
