Racconto Boutique Design Hotel

"We booked this holiday with Jet2 and as others have stated the hotel is up a hill. Jet2 coach dropped us off (quite late at night) at the bottom and we had to wheel 2 suitcases up. Not an issue for us, however it could be for others. In general we did not find the hill too much trouble as we tended to walk up it 3 times per day and found it to be good exercise. A friendly gentleman checked us in and showed us to the room. The room was top floor and very spacious with a very large balcony. The room was immaculate and decorated lovely. The cleaning staff did an excellent job. The lady at reception in the mornings was also quite helpful. The breakfast area is all seated outside and the food looked nice with a good choice (I cannot comment on the food as my phobia of wasps meant I could not sit there and each much as there was some wasps flying about). My husband said the orange juice was delicious. Went in the pool the last day. It was a nice clean pool, with comfortable sun loungers. We checked out at 11am and the jet2 coach did not pick up until the evening. There was a shower facilities room near the pool and the hotel allow you to use that facility in order to freshen up before returning home. Parga is a great place. We liked seeing the wild pigs and walked all the way across the hills to the other beaches. We hope to go back in afew years time. Would not rule out this hotel, however would only want the same room and ideally would prefer an inside area to be able to sit and eat the breakfast (…only because of my wasp phobia)."

"Fantastic stay everything was spot on staff excellent suite and pool perfect breakfast very good Parga itself magical place to visit ten minute walk to the seafront taxi back 8 euros avoids a steep hill but no problem to walk overall excellent holiday"

"just come back and very mixed reviews tbh, parga itself is stunning and we will 100% be returning, its about 20 mins walk to town, but wont be returning to this hotel started poorly as coach left us at the bottom of a 300m very very steep hill, tour operator blamed the hotel, the hotel blamed the tour operator??? as a customer we just knew it wasn't our fault and not what you need after a long day travelling no drinks offered on arrival yet we saw everyone else get one as we sat by the pool during the week hotel room on arrival was not what we booked and seen images off, we told the concierge who told us this room didn't even exist to jet2? found the cleaning staff very helpful, but concierge very rude and not helpful at all were we asked for 80 euros to keep the room on for an extra 4 hours on departure, and we knew it was empty after us leaving, was not offered a lift back down steep hill to get coach home, and then hotel staff drives someone else past us and drops them off at the 300m steep hill, and then drives back up past us for a second time??"
