If you’re looking for a simple base close to the shoreline, the Dokos Studios is a real winner. It’s nice and central, putting you within easy walking distance of the candy-hued restaurants and cafés of Parga’s waterfront, as well as Krioneri Beach – a silky sweep of sand lapped by the calm waves of the Ionian Sea and fringed by greenery.
The studios themselves are bright and cheerful, with whitewashed walls and cool tiled floors. All of them are well-equipped with a kitchenette and dining area, so you’re completely geared up for self-catering. You’ll find a handful of grocery stores and a supermarket close-by when you need to stock up on essentials. Each one comes with the added bonus of a balcony with views of the surrounding mountains.
Facilities onsite include a traditional taverna and a snack bar. This is a family-run hotel with a warm and friendly atmosphere, so there’s no chance of feeling like just another room number here. In fact, guests regularly praise the staff members for their attentive service.
