"Book this hotel! You will be so happy you did!!! I dont even know where to start with the good things to say so I’ll start at the beginning. We emailed them before we arrived and arranged for airport transportation which we found out was included since we booked directly from the hotel site. When we arrived, Kostas was waiting for us and took us to the hotel. The location can’t be beat. It is a 5 minute walk to the town, the windmills, and all the restaurants. The town is pretty dead this time of year but there are still a lot of good restaurants open including Rouvera, and some shops. We were greeted by Katarina who checked us in and gave us a tour of the property which looks great online and is even more charming and beautiful in person. We were not sure what gym facilities the hotel has because it was hard to tell online. They have a two treadmills, an elliptical, a bike, some machines, and a lot of dumbbells. It’s not huge but was really nice and easy to get a good workout in. They include breakfast every morning that is served from 8-12 each day. There we met Dimetra. She helped us every morning and remembered our names from the first time we met and asked us questions about our day and was genuinely so kind and sweet and lovely. The entire staff here really went above and beyond and are honestly great humans. Katarina is the most friendly, most helpful, wonderful person I have ever met at a front desk of a hotel. She met every request and even found a deck of cards for us to play on a windy cold day. She gave us the best suggestions of where to go, where to run in the mornings, and things to do. She truly is amazing. We were initially scheduled to stay two nights and Kostas took us to the ferry port. After we sat there for 45 minutes, we found out the ferry was canceled. I messaged Katarina on what’s app and seconds later she responded, “Kostas is on his way.” It’s a little unnerving being stuck in a foreign country with a hotel booked in another city and not sure what to do but the entire staff made us feel safe and took care of us. Kostas is so wonderful and sweet. He was so kind to us our whole trip. He came and picked us and took us back where Katarina was waiting and said we could have our same room back and they were cleaning it for us. (Side note, I would recommend flying between the islands as the ferries don’t run when the winds are too high and apparently this happens even in summer). As far as the hotel, it’s absolutely gorgeous, with an amazing location, but the staff, Katarina, Dimitra, and Kostas are the heart of the hotel. Their hospitality and kindness made the trip so special for us. Thank you Katarina, Dimitra, and Kostas. We cannot thank you enough. We booked a double sea view room with spa on the deck.
