"In May 2026, we organized a religious conference/ retreat at Simantro Resort and our experience exceeded all expectations. The hotel’s greatest assets are undoubtedly its stunning natural surroundings, distinctive architecture, and the beautiful bay with crystal-clear waters that creates a truly peaceful and inspiring atmosphere. It is an ideal destination both for relaxation and for hosting group events and conferences. Although the property is not new, it is exceptionally well maintained and full of charm and character. The food was outstanding, served in an impressive setting, with great variety and excellent quality throughout our stay. Another major advantage is the wide selection of indoor and outdoor spaces, offering great flexibility for conferences, meetings, and group activities. What truly made the difference, however, was the people. The new manager, mr Nikolaos Arabatzis, together with the capable, professional, and genuinely kind staff, gave their very best to ensure that every guest felt welcomed and cared for. From the very first moment, there was a warm feeling of being “at home,” something rare and deeply appreciated when organizing a demanding event. Their hospitality, attention to detail, and willingness to help created a memorable experience for all of us. We wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for conferences, retreats, and holidays in Halkidiki, and we look forward to returning in the future. Special thanks to the Hotel Manager, the maître, the sales manager Ioanna, the hotel’s chef George, the reception staff — especially Anastasia kogka and Valia — the housekeeping team, and all the hotel personnel for their professionalism, kindness, and impeccable service throughout our stay.
