The tucked-away Port Marina Hotel promises ultra-peaceful breaks. All whitewashed walls and glossy palms, it’s set among tropical gardens on the outskirts of Pefkohori. You can walk to the resort’s cosmopolitan marina in around 10 minutes, where swish restaurants and bars line up in front of the yachts. A sandy beach is even closer, and you can look forward to spectacular sea views from the property.
Outdoors, you’re well geared up if R&R is on the agenda. There’s a massive outdoor pool in the middle of the grounds, flanked by loungers, parasols and greenery. It’s paired with a bar for daytime refreshments, and there’s a section especially for little ones. The atmosphere is nice and tranquil here, so poolside lounging and snoozing is a given.
In terms of food and drink, the airy Port Marina Restaurant deals in international buffet spreads for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with show cooking stations and regular themed corners. Expect favourites like pizza and pasta, along with Greek specialities and a brilliant selection of desserts. As for after-dinner entertainment, it’s fairly low-key at this place, and revolves around occasional live music.
