"While the room was comfortable and tidy, our overall stay experience was completely overshadowed by the unacceptable condition of the restaurant area and the attitude of the staff. The hygiene level in the restaurant is at least worrying: During breakfast, a cat wandered among the tables and climbed onto the chairs, with the staff completely indifferent. The most unacceptable thing was that, while setting up the tables for the next customers, the napkins were not changed. They just collected the plates and placed the new cutlery directly on top of the already used spoons of previous guests. The food was of mediocre quality, with very slow refreshment of options, while the restaurant staff was cold, impersonal, and seemed to be doing a chore. The climax, however, was a specific incident: one morning, the children were disturbed by the cat and couldn't eat. Seeing that the situation was not improving, we decided to leave, wrapping the croissants that were already on their plate and had started to eat (they were not untouched from the buffet) in a paper napkin to finish them outside. The employee's reaction at the restaurant reception was unacceptable: they strictly forbade us from taking them with us, clearly preferring them to end up in the trash since they were half-eaten, showing a complete lack of empathy, understanding, and minimal courtesy towards a family. We left quite dissatisfied with the service and hospitality. Such behavior is not appropriate for tourism professionals."

"**Alexandros Palace – definitely not a 5-star standard** Unfortunately, after spending two weeks at Alexandros Palace, I am very disappointed. Although the hotel is advertised as 5-star, our experience was nowhere near this standard. Our “deluxe sea view” room had part of the sea view blocked by the roof of the lobby. The bathtub massage function did notwork, and when the bath was drained, the bathroom flooded and dirt came up through the drain. The kettle was extremely heavily scaled, there was dust and cobwebs, rubbish under the sofa from previous guests, and the mattress was badly worn and uncomfortable. The balcony light and a room bulb did not work despite being reported, and I had to clean bird droppings from the balcony myself. The biggest disappointment was the all-inclusive package. The hotel has four bars, but we discovered that two were not actually included: one was chargeable and the other offered only a 20% discount. One pool bar was also closed during our stay. This was very disappointing, especially as the hotel was sold to us as an all-inclusive 5-star holiday. The drinks were extremely strong and poorly prepared, and the bartenders clearly need better training in cocktail preparation. Bottled water was only provided when we arrived. Afterwards, we had to buy it or walk to another bar to refill a bottle. The food was repetitive and often cold. The snack bar was very basic, and the excursion lunch box was extremely poor. There was also conflicting information about restaurant opening times. One day I returned from an excursion at 1:55 pm and the restaurant was already closing, with very little food left. There were also some strange rules regarding food. Guests were allowed to take fruit with them, but we were not allowed to take a small piece of dry cake. It was difficult to understand the logic behind this. The beach is close, but there were many cigarette butts, broken tables and no designated non-smoking area. There were some genuinely helpful members of staff, but overall the service and facilities did not meet the standard I would expect from a 5-star hotel. After two weeks, I honestly believe the hotel is nowhere near 5 stars. Personally, I would rate it no more than 2 stars. If I had known the true standard of the hotel and the restrictions of the all-inclusive package before booking, I would definitely not have chosen it for the price we paid. **This was definitely not the 5-star standard we expected.**"
