Fourka Holidays

An enchanting Greek beach resort

Dinky Fourka, on the first ‘leg’ of Halkidiki, is a charming, typical Greek village turned wonderful resort town. Fourka holidays are spent bouncing between the picturesque village and its nearby sandy beaches, where you can savour stupendous seascapes and glowing sunsets. Fourka really is a visual feast, with the surrounding pine tree forests and olive groves providing a spectacular contrast to the rolling azure of the sea.

As a well-equipped resort, you’ll find everything you need in Fourka, including brilliant dining options, and parties and events put on by the town’s cultural association in the evenings. During the day, you’ll probably want to spend most of your time at the beach – and Fourka Beach has white sand and Blue Flag status, along with laid-back bars and tavernas serving seafood. For sun, sea, sand and relaxation, holidays to Fourka are about as perfect as they come.

Your Fourka questions, answered

When you’re feeling peckish, you’ll find plenty of laid-back Greek options. For a quick bite, try ‘souvlaki’ (skewered meat) or ‘pita gyros’ (kebab) with fried potatoes.
It can be handy to have a car – or a moped – in Fourka, especially if you’re keen to visit different spots along the beach, which is about 3 kilometres long.
In summer there are several holidays that mark important saints’ days, and in July and August you’ll come across local festivities with music and dancing.
