"We were looking forward to this stay with impatience. The disappointment was just as great. Arrival. We arrive late and tired. The check-in is long (paperwork, hot towel, drink), then we are given a very vague route for the parking lot. I ended up in an underground garage of the hotel that was not the right one, and I had to back out. A small, simple map would have sufficed. Room. The hotel "upgraded" us without asking, to a room that was worse for us than the one booked: partial sea view, building across the way, and very noisy ventilation. The receptionist could not do anything. Sleepless night. The next day, we were moved to a quiet room with a nice view. Thanks to the team for that. But in the first room, the bathtub water also came out through the shower, and in the second, we had to kill a huge cockroach. Condition of the hotel. Many things are broken or poorly finished. Elevator out of service, with a hole where the call button should be. Automatic door stuck in the open or closed position. Broken tiles and slabs. Electrical wires hanging down. Walls damaged by carts. Large air conditioning unit visible in the terrace restaurant area. Fire extinguishers are even used to prop doors open. I have photos of all of this. Advertised services. The Wi-Fi does not work: about 95% of the time, our devices indicate "no Internet connection." The fitness room is nonexistent; there is nothing to do there. The "gestures." For an additional night, we were offered €235, while the same night was €271 on Booking. We were then offered parking and a dinner. The dinner only covered part of the menu, and I ended up paying €70. Half-board also only covers part of the dishes. These gestures are mostly for show. Restaurant and staff. The food is very good, but we had order errors at almost every meal. The staff is numerous and most often friendly, but poorly trained, and the attire of some is inappropriate. When you report a problem, the answer is often "oh, we didn't know," even though other guests are encountering the same issues. I wrote to the hotel and I never received a response from a manager, only from the reservations department. In summary. The setting is beautiful and the food is good, but the rest is far from a 5-star experience. The problems mainly stem from a lack of follow-up and management. We will not return, and these hassles weighed on our vacation."

"We had an excellent stay at the Castello Boutique Hotel in Sissi and we have very fond memories of it. For info, we were upgraded to the hotel across the street, Castello Boutique Suite by the Sea. The hotel is truly magnificent, very well maintained, and ideally located to enjoy Sissi and its surroundings. The room was comfortable, clean, and pleasant, with everything you need for a relaxing stay. A huge favorite also for the staff, who are adorable, smiling, available, and always taking great care of you. The welcome and the quality of the service really contributed to making our stay even more pleasant. We also really appreciated the catering and the various services offered by the hotel. Everything is done so that you can fully enjoy your vacation in a calm and elegant setting. Sissi is also a very pretty little resort, pleasant for walking in the evening, having dinner, or having a drink by the water. We really recommend this hotel without hesitation. A very beautiful address in Crete, where we will return with great pleasure! 🇬🇷❤️"
