"We have been regular visitors to the Castello Boutique Resort and Spa for some years, but the Castello Suites by the Sea was a completely different experience. The new hotel is five star luxuary , with a lovely calm atmosphere and beautiful views. Our room had a plunge pool looking out to sea. The room was very clean and minimalist, with fresh towels and service at regular intervals. We could not fault the presentation; as we arrived late at night, we were greeted with a welcoming smile, sandwiches, cake, a fresh fruit platter and a bottle of prosecco on ice. In late October, our balcony was in shade, so we used the main pool area for swimming and sitting in the sun, this was a lovely area with very comfortable sun loungers. During the week we ate in the hotel resteraunt, which offered a selection of meals to those who were half board. There was an additional charge for some meals but adequate choice for all. The food quality, presentation and standard was excellent. The staff were attentive and very caring. My partner has a nut allergy and once they were made aware of this, they would ensure that he could still eat everything on offer! The hotel is situated in a quiet part of the village and ideal for those who want to chill out and have some privacy. Access to all areas by lift is available, but there are two steep slopes and a set of steps to navigate if people do not wish to use the lifts. I would not hesitate to return to this hotel, the quality and standards are exceptional - well done Castello team!"

"Castello Boutique Suites by the Sea had only been open for a couple of weeks when we arrived; we were excited as we had stayed many time at its sister hotel, Castello Boutique, just across the road and had watched this hotel being built. Our excitement was fully rewarded: the beautifully designed suites, the generous outside space with seating area and sun beds and, of course, the swim-up pool overlooking the sea - perfect! The restaurant provided good quality and imaginative dishes all served to your table, no buffet service here, just as I like it. Breakfast consisted of a small buffet plus food cooked to order from the menu, including the best Eggs Benedict you’ll find anywhere. Altogether a wonderful experience."
