Radamanthy's Hotel Apartments

"Lovely small apartments if you’re looking for a peaceful and relaxing break. Although very hard to get around without a car and as others have already stated it’s not good for people with mobility issues as there is a very steep hill leading up to the apartments."

"Radamanthys Suites are in a perfect gorgeous elevated position to take in the lovely sea view. The hill is quite challenging but gives you a good workout. It is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues unless you hire a car. Our room was a poolside studio which was perfect for us. It was a good size, very clean and had a sink, double hob, fridge freezer, toaster and kettle. It is basic but I don't go on holiday to cook! (I believe the apartments also had a sandwich toaster) The bar/cafeteria is poolside and provides lovely food at a reasonable price. Continental breakfast or bacon and eggs are available. The bar is open until 11pm and has a very relaxed vibe. The pool is very clean, it isn't massive but we never had to fight for a sunbed and in the mornings we often had the place to ourselves. The best thing about this hotel is the staff. It is a family run hotel, the staff are always pleasant, smiling, polite and willing to help with any issue you may have. Two people in particular deserve special mention, they are Andriana and Vangelis. They were so lovely we feel that they became friends rather than hotel staff. We will definitely return. The hotel is ideally located for exploring the South and West of the island and is between the two airports. We booked through Jet2 and got a great deal so didn't expect much but were very pleased with the excellent value. It is rated as 2 star but deserves a higher rating."

"Fantastic self catering appartments where we had best room with sea view and mountain view. Quite pool area and no worries in June getting sunbed. All staff so welcoming. Our bathroom really modern and even had washing machine. Like others have reviewed its an unusual place when you step away from site. If you unfit or mobility issues then hill is not for you. Its mighty steep!!! Plus at the bottom theres very busy roads....ugly underpass....little or no bars...but if you explore and see what it is then thete are some places about. Easy bus ride to rethymon or our favourite palermo. We would return but car helpful??? And if you careful on roads then you will enjoy."
