"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A relaxing and memorable holiday in Crete My wife and I spent one wonderful week at Porto Platanias Beach Resort & Spa, and overall it was a holiday experience we truly enjoyed and would gladly return to again. The hotel itself fully lived up to our expectations. We stayed in room 1328, a lovely two-floor room located close to the adults-only pool area. This area had a calm and relaxed atmosphere with a more mature audience, which suited us perfectly. On the other side of the resort, near the sea and harbor area, there was a more lively atmosphere with water aerobics, activities, and entertainment. We really appreciated that the hotel offered different environments depending on what kind of holiday experience you were looking for. We had all-inclusive during our stay, and the food was excellent throughout the week. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, there was always plenty of variety and something delicious to choose from as a couple. One of the absolute highlights of our holiday was the Sparkling Spa experience. We booked the “Back to Eden” couples treatment, and it turned into something far beyond what we expected. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by kind and professional staff. The private spa suite, full body massage, facial treatments, jacuzzi, wellness facilities, and peaceful atmosphere created an unforgettable experience for both body and mind. After the treatments, a beautiful romantic meal was served in our private spa suite. Everything was presented with elegance and tasted amazing — especially the grilled salmon, risotto, fresh salads, and desserts. For almost four hours, time seemed to stand still. It became one of the greatest highlights of our first trip to Crete. Five stars may perhaps be one star too many for some small details here and there — but honestly, we received everything we could wish for during our stay. A special thank you as well to Bravo Tours, who once again delivered a fantastic travel experience. We would happily visit Porto Platanias Beach Resort & Spa again."

"We have just spent a week at the hotel, but did not think it lived up to the 5 stars they have. The hotel itself is centrally located in Platanias, and close to bus stops, they have several pools and direct access to the beach. The food at the hotel is quite good and varied, there was always something to eat. Lovely cakes, ice cream and fruit for dessert. Good rooms with efficient cleaning, the area itself was also cleaned several times a day. Nice pool bar for ALL INCL. However, there were a few things that surprised us. Only one bar for ALL INCL. guests, although there were 3 other bars. The beach bar was not for AI guests either. You had to pay 15 Euros for a beach chair, which applies to everyone. There was often a queue at the AI ​​bar, as there was only one person to serve the guests. You could also get food for breakfast and lunch at the pool bar. Very helpful staff in both the restaurant, bar and reception. All in all, a good stay."
