Piskopiano Village

"The positive is the staff are as reviews say lovely. The pool areas are well kept. Friendly run bar . We upgraded to a superior room - we did get a view but the apartment was VERY tired - comfy bed but the TV doesn’t work unless you take a fire stick - the shower curtain was too short so bathroom constantly very wet floors - and the taps & bathroom cupboard tarnished the kitchen amenities are very very basic - I had read this so took my own wok - chopping board and as long as you just one a one pot meal then you will get by. The walls in some areas had damp issues that had been painted over and there was a constant ant issue around the sink. We knew about all the stairs so not an issue for us but if you have any mobility issues don’t go here. The village and adjoining villages are very pretty . There is a really well stocked Lidl a 7 minute drive away. It’s a shame because it could be great but the rooms all need an update in decoration as described above ."

"Piskopiano village complex is very run down. Room 32 has no bathroom window, smells of damp and has a small bath with the enamel peeling off with a shower in the bath. All the furniture is extremely worn out and you struggle to close the draws and when you do the bedside lamp flickers on and off. The cleaning is very sub standard, we have had pieces of the bath enamel in the plug hole for the last 12 days! They gather the dust etc from the floors with a mop rather than sweep them first. The toilet smells constantly of urine as very little cleaning products are used. The bathroom has no natural light and the light is secured to the wall using silicone attached to the lightbulb and the extractor fan is held in place with tissue paper stuffed in the gap of the hole to stop it falling out. The kettle didn’t work properly and full of limescale and it took 4 days for them to sort and us constantly chasing. This room is in desperate need of a good upgrade. Jet2 should be ashamed of letting their customers pay to come here. The only plus is it is ideally situated for the village of Piskopiano and Koutoulofari and Old Hersonisos, the poolside barman Ben is very good at his job and is the only member of staff that is a credit to the place. Would not recommend, spend your money elsewhere. Would not return."

"6th time we have stayed here as we love it so much. Location great,room 66 was a perfect 1 bed apartment,even had a toaster.Staff are lovely and work so hard. Very clean,new towels and bedding every other day. Can't wait to return."
