"We enjoyed our week stay ….our room was very private and quiet and loved the afternoon sun on the balcony…bins emptied daily and was cleaned well too Loved the swimming early in the morning as there were no time restrictions… The food at the poolside bar was delicious and we had lunch here few times . It was ideally located to explore the old towns just up a small hill or you could walk about 1.2k to the beach of hersonissos. The staff at the hotel were very helpful too"

"This is a great place to stay, really enjoyed our 10 days! The owners and staff are really friendly and incredibly helpful if you need anything - they were also helpful with a few questions we had before we arrived. 2 pools to choose from, main pool is larger and busy but always room, second pool much smaller and quieter, often no-one else using it if you fancy some peace and quiet. Pool bar and food are also great and sensibly priced. Room (and hotel generally) clean and had everything we needed. One tip...both our rooms had balcony doors with no handle on the outside so if one person wants to use it when the other is asleep, leaving the door ajar cuts the aircon. We happened to have a dashboard phone holder with a suction cup which we used to pull the door shut, recommend taking something similar. There's a well-stocked supermarket opposite the hotel. Main strip of Piskopiano is a 5 min walk up a gentle hill. Turn left and 5-10 mins further to Koutalafari or turn right and Old Hersonissos is a 15-20 min walk. If you want a livelier time or more shops and a beach, Hersonissos is a 25 min walk down the hill (bit of a hike back up in the heat but very manageable unless you have difficulties walking). If you're feeling fit, thoroughly recommend walking up to the masts you can see from the end of the pool area. Part road, then dusty track, about 4 miles from the hotel, obviously all uphill but well worth it for the views (pics included). There's a fence across the dirt track but I untied it and went through, think it's there to keep the goats in as I met a farmer driving down and he simply waved. "Stayed here in August all the staff very friendly bins emptied every day towels changed every other, rooms clean and spacious, basic kitchen area with kettle, toaster, 2 ring stove top, fridge. Beds comfy, tv in bedroom couldn't get English-speaking channels on. Bathroom with shower always hot water. 2 pools sunbeds always available we stayed round the smal pool area which was very quite and peaceful. Wifi is not very good. Location 5 min walk to mainly restaurants and Irish bar, a supermarket across the road . Try Socrates snack bar at top of hill eat in or take away . Only complaint was when we were waiting in reception for coach to pick us up and others with small children, the owner started smoking, just think he could be a little more respectful and gone outside. Overall for what we paid was an enjoyable holiday."
