"Great family vacation, the hotel complex itself was great, very clean, very appealing visually, the staff couldn’t do enough for you, always polite and friendly, the hotel is still in the soft opening phase so naturally some teething issues such as a faulty light that tripped the electrics in the room, however this was addressed immediately and resolved. The food was good, if you are planning on dining in the traditional greek restaurant on site then do ensure you book this way ahead of arrival as it’s incredibly popular. Out 11 year old son had a great time also, especially with the ninja warrior challenge over one of the smaller pools. We would certainly book again."

"We stayed in this brand new hotel for a week at the beginning of April. It is nestled on a headland, just outside the little harbour village of Mochlos. We are a family of four with two teenage children and the hotel didn’t disappoint! The staff bent over backwards to look after us; a special mention for Maria at Guest Services who gave us lots of local info for when we wanted to go to Sitia and explore the area. She was amazing! We hired a car for the day from the hotel so didn’t have to wrangle with taxis to local car hire firms, it was so easy and very reasoably priced. They even gave us an upgraded car. The food was delicious and a huge variety at the buffet restaurant. This was also immaculate and run very efficiently. We ate at two of the à la carte restaurants; the Italian and their signature Greek restaurant, Athema. Both were very good and the children loved the pizzas! We had a room with a swim up pool which was great, except the pools aren’t heated so it was a bit chilly at this time of year… It will be amazing when the weather has warmed up. Again, the room was great with free water and soft drinks in the fridge. We also had a Nespresso machine in our room which was restocked every day with coffee pods. In terms of things to do, the children absolutely loved the Ninja Warrior obstacle course - hours of fun! And the paddel court was brilliant, and the tennis. We didn’t spend much time on the beach as the sea was still too cold to swim in but they were starting to offer sofa rides, jet ski hire etc etc. There are plenty of sun loungers around the two large pools and we had drinks served to us by the pool which was a real treat. You could also order food all day from the street food hub - so the children could graze whenever they were peckish! The hotel is about a 25 minute walk into Mochlos - we did that a couple of times and went for supper in one of the restaurants overlooking the bay. Delicious food and a great atmosphere with lots of the locals eating there too. The hotel had a lovely rooftop bar which served amazingly good cocktails. When we asked if they served nibbles like nuts or crisps (they didn’t) - they made sure we had some the next evening with our drinks. My only complaint (and this is not a bad one!!!) but when you sit outside on the terrace at the rooftop bar, you can’t see over the wall and look at the view!!! It’s a shame they didn’t make the wall a bit lower or make it glass so that you can see out properly. But that’s being really picky…..!! The views are breathtaking. Overall, a stunning hotel, exceptional service (big shout out to Maria) and utterly delicious food and drink. We loved every moment and wish the hotel every success. And we can’t wait to go back!"
