Holidays to Malia aren’t all about the nightlife, though. It’s loved for its beaches – golden sandy stretches which wind along the north-east coast. Favourite swathes include Potomas Beach, which has a sleepier feel than the rest, and Glozanie Beach, where the watersports and thatched bars create a lively atmosphere.
Check out Malia’s Old Town for scenes of old-world Greece. Its cobbled lanes flaunt Medieval churches and whitewashed cottages that have stood the test of time.
