Marni Village

"The resort itself is ok. The cost of hire cars in the reception is almost 6x the cost of hire cars just a few minutes walk away in the Main Street. Do not fall in to the traps of purchasing anything here. The restaurant again, is roughly 50% more expensive than a restaurant a couple of minutes walk. There is absolutely nothing gluten free here. Domitri the front of house manager refused to provide us (in the flagship villa) with an additional beach towel despite the house catering for 8, as they are per person. Not even a single offer to just hand over the towel, point blank refused. The WiFi dropped out regularly, and the rooms/water have a funny smell. Genuinely poor customer service"

"We had a wonderful week at Marni Village! Our two bedroom apartment was lovely and had almost everything we needed (luckily I brought my own opener). It was cleaned daily. The staff is very friendly and kind. They help you with every question or request you have. Always with a smile. One of the best things is the space at the pool. We always found a nice bed in or out of the sun. Enjoying a nice freddo cappuccino at the pool. I hope to go back someday."

"Excellent Hotel, with comfortable rooms with kitchen and infinity pool. Hard working bar and restaurant staff. We had a storm for the first two days so everyone ate in the restaurant, (as local old town is the normal destination as only 5 minute walk and lots of restraints) Everyone descending at the same time to eat. Some people were very rude to the members of staff , but they managed to continue with service with dignity and respect despite a very difficult evening. I always think its when things are difficult it shows how good somewhere is therefore a BIG 5 STAR from me"
