Euphoria Resort

"This is fair review of a a seemingly lacking 5 star hotel. We arrived late from a long day of travel with an a 89 year old mum, who l emailed ahead for to have a room that was suitable for her go shower. However they put me and my daughter on the other side of the hotel. When l asked why would they split the family apart her reply was some families like to be separated on a family holiday. Here are the pluses of Euphoria - nice rooms - nice lunch area by the pool, with lovely pizza and salad - food in main restaurant was a good standard Here are negatives and for this is the reason l wouldn’t come again - you get 4 coffee pods and if you want any more you have to pay for them. But l can sit by the pool all day drinking alcohol but no extra coffee how does that make sense. - The nice cabana seats you have to pay extra to sit in them. - staff looked unhappy and were in some instance were rude, never said good morning or really smiled. By the pool they were annoyed when asked for drinks. Never offering to get drinks except in the evening on the terrace. One day by the pool was very windy and hardly no one around but not one person came and asked if we wanted drinks. - when we left no one said goodbye have a safe journey in fact the reception staff looked miserable. - we went in may/June only to be told that my 12 year old daughter could use the indoor pool and then on 2nd June asked to leave because it’s June now and not allowed there was not a person in this area for most of the day and she was accompanied by me the adult. - rooms were not cleaned properly they were dusty and sometimes smelly. - shower floors we’re dangerous my daughter slipped and in the end we had to put a towel down. - one day at breakfast a member of staff was asked a question by a guest and another said something to him in Greek like he was being told off. - the book able restaurants are okay the Greek lovely and authentic. Would l go again no because staff make the experience pleasant for you and if they look unhappy then that says a lot about the place, the hotel is beautiful and pool is lovely."

"Just returned from a fab seven days at this great hotel. Was pretty much perfect from start to finish. Staff were brill and couldn’t do enough, buildings and grounds were lovely and so well maintained. Loads of loungers and very little sunbed hogging because it just wasn’t necessary. Enjoyed all the à la carte restaurants we visited and had breakfast and lunch at the beach bar every day. Only sticking point as others have mentioned was the slightly strange approach to bar service - not a big deal for me really but deffo something the hotel should look at djd cause a bit of frustration. Would very happily return here and that is the biggest compliment I can pay."

"We are extremely disappointed with our stay at Euphoria Resort and in our opinion this hotel is definitely not a 5-star resort — at best, it deserves a weak 4 stars. It is only our second day here and we already regret not being able to change hotels. We paid over £500 extra for a sea view room, yet upon arrival we were given a terrible view overlooking the tennis courts. We had to change rooms three times at 9 PM with a 4-month-old baby just to finally receive the room category we originally booked through Jet2. The receptionist initially told us that no other rooms were available and when we asked to speak with the manager, we were told he had already gone home. Surprisingly, after I started calling Jet2, the manager suddenly appeared 10 minutes later. Absolutely shocking service. The staff throughout the hotel are unfortunately unfriendly and unprofessional. Nobody smiles, nobody makes eye contact, and it genuinely feels as though they are doing guests a favour by working there. One waitress spilled juice next to our table in the restaurant and never came back to clean it up. Queues everywhere are enormous — and I really mean enormous. Whether at restaurants or bars, you spend a huge amount of time waiting. The food quality is also disappointing and feels more like a cafeteria than a 5-star dining experience. Housekeeping was equally poor. Our room was cleaned very carelessly — the bed was not properly made, the shower had clearly not been cleaned, mirrors were dirty, and there was even mould in the shower cabin. If you have stayed at hotels such as Sani Beach, Eagles Palace or Grecotel Caramel, you will immediately notice the massive difference in service and quality. Those hotels truly provide a luxury 5-star experience. Euphoria Resort simply does not. We also asked for a late check-out due to travelling with an infant, but this was not possible either. One more important note: around 75% of guests here are families with children. If you are looking for a peaceful or relaxing holiday without kids around, this is definitely not the right hotel for you. The only real positives so far are the alcoholic drinks — at least the bartenders do not seem to be saving on the alcohol — and one extremely kind and always smiling gentleman making fresh fruit and vegetable juices every day. He was one of the very few staff members here who actually made us feel welcome."
