Diogenis Blue Palace

"Very disappointed with this hotel, the meals are very average with very little choice. Let's talk about the all-inclusive: the bar opens at 11 a.m. and closes at 11 p.m. There is only local wine which is really very bad, beer that isn't great either, and a whiskey that apparently isn't one, more like a kind of cognac mixed. The rest costs extra, cocktails with or without alcohol are 6 euros, soft drinks and coffee/tea are free... We arrived at midnight, nothing, not even a piece of fruit or a cookie in the rooms, same for our departure at 5 a.m., not even a coffee. Furthermore, no snacks in the afternoon, the restaurant closes at 2:15 p.m. and reopens at 7 p.m.; they just put out fruit at 4:30 p.m. The rooms could use a good cleaning; the French door in our room wouldn't close, and that was for our entire stay. There was also a lack of storage. The only positive thing is the pool is very nice, but the seats are reserved from the morning. The beach across the street isn't great either, very small with quite a few waves, apparently normal because Kato Gouves is in the north. We rented a car and went to a beach 20km away that was really great. Do not take the 13 euro little train to see nothing but passing through stony and dusty paths. Otherwise, the staff, nothing to say, the waiters and chambermaids are very kind. In the end, this hotel does not deserve a 4-star rating at all, a 2 would be more than enough, I frankly regret this stay in this hotel."

"Incredible hotel, food in the form of an abundant and excellent buffet, great location, on-site vehicle rental without a credit card hold. Strong point is the staff, YVAN, elegance at the heart of the hotel, brilliant man, central figure, I insist on the staff always smiling, the rooms are cleaned every day, we will return with pleasure, very, very nice discovery.
