"Stayed here in September 26, originally booked a swim up room for 10 nights. Asked to change rooms after first night - the room we were originally given was clean but incredibly noisy, positioned right next to a busy road with no privacy - the chaps outside the launderette opposite can see straight in. There was no storage, beyond the wardrobe and only one of the doors opened because of a badly placed air conditioning unit. It gave the impression of being unfinished and was uncomfortable. After several persistant requests we were moved to a room that was much quieter but still lacked any storage beyond a wardrobe. There is no mirror outside of the bathroom, and no tea or coffee provided in the room. It lacked warmth or hospitality. We have checked out two nights early, we have not been refunded for moving to a cheaper room or leaving early. Disappointed, given the other positive reviews. The hotel is clean but almost clinical in its presentation. Fine if you’re staying a couple of nights, but not a luxurious place for a week or more."

"Hotel Tarra was renovated in 2025 and turned out very nicely. The rooms are very bright and large. Two people can move around comfortably in them. The bathroom is also very large, with a rainfall shower. The balconies facing Corissia Park are small but sufficient to let the day wind down there. The breakfast room is outside, which we enjoyed very much. The buffet is very well stocked, from savory to sweet, and is constantly being refilled. The fried eggs were the best. The entire staff is very friendly and helpful. The entire complex makes a very well-maintained impression and makes you want to linger there. Here are a few more notes for the operator; we are not deducting any stars for these. Unfortunately, the drying racks are too large and damage the outer wall on the balcony (facing Corissia Park). A wall-mounted, retractable one would be better there. The shower is very long and there is a lot of unused space there; a small shelf for various shower supplies would be excellent. In our living-bedroom, there was unfortunately no chair or other storage option to put one's things down in the evening. The hotel also has a supermarket with a coffee bar; unfortunately, there are guest rooms above it, and it is very loud on the balcony in the evening. We were able to manage with that, so full star rating."
