"Unfortunately, our stay at this hotel was very disappointing.
Upon arrival, we were assigned a ground-floor room where the terrace door lock was broken, making it impossible to lock the door. This meant we could not safely leave our belongings in the room. In addition, the room had a strong moldy smell, the floors were dirty, thick layers of dust were visible on the light fixtures, there was mold in the shower corners and other parts of the room, and both the bedroom and bathroom walls were covered with small flies. The shower head was also loose and looked like it was about to fall off. It was obvious that the rooms lack proper ventilation, which has resulted in persistent moisture and mold problems.
We reported the broken terrace door lock to the reception immediately after checking in. The receptionist assured us that the issue would be resolved and suggested that we go for lunch in the meantime. When we returned, nothing had been done. We went back to the reception for a second time, and the receptionist acted as if she had no knowledge of the issue and went to inspect it herself.
What surprised us the most was that another guest had already left a review about this exact room and the same broken terrace door lock, including photos, approximately two months before our stay. Despite this, the problem had still not been fixed.
We were then asked to wait for a maintenance technician. After waiting 15–20 minutes, nobody arrived, so we went to the reception for the third time. At that point, we simply asked for another room. In total, we had to wait around three hours after arriving before we were finally able to settle into a different room.
Unfortunately, the second room was almost identical in terms of cleanliness. It had the same moldy smell, flies, dust, and poor overall hygiene. The only improvement was that the terrace door lock actually worked.
The food was tasty, although the menu became repetitive during our one-week stay. The restaurant and bar staff were friendly, polite, and helpful.
The rooms were cleaned every day, but the cleaning appeared to consist only of mopping the floors with plain water and replacing towels and bed linen. It did not seem that proper cleaning products were used or that the rooms were thoroughly cleaned.
One positive aspect is the hotel's location, with the beach just a few meters away. However, the sunbeds cost €10 per day, and many of them were dirty and torn.
The biggest disappointment was not the hotel itself or the food, but the poor standards of cleanliness, hygiene, maintenance, and the reception staff's lack of urgency in dealing with a serious security issue. It is even more disappointing knowing that the management had been aware of some of these problems for months but had still failed to resolve them.
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel and would not choose to stay here again."
