"My partner and I stayed here for 6 nights and would certainly revisit. The hotel is new so everything is very well maintained and clean. The buffet breakfast is lovely with fresh orange juice and a great selection of food. The pool area is relaxing and you get good coverage of the sun, albeit loose the sun behind the mountain around 1.5 hours before sunset. We stayed in one of the higher rooms (121) and got an amazing view of the sunrise each day and overlooking the surrounding area. The staff were all really approachable and friendly, offering us use of a shower room as our departure flight was later. The minibar in the room is replenished with bottled water daily. The hotel doesn’t feel cramped at all and almost like small apartment blocks, giving that open feel. Things to note: - The pool is clean and modern but it’s really cold - There are two ways of entering the hotel (top and bottom) and our transfer drivers got a bit confused between the two Maybe because it’s a new hotel - The hill upto reception / our room is steep which wasn’t an issue for us but the hotel offer a golf buggy to transport you around if needed - Good location for keen golfers (hotel just in front has a course which you can pay to play at) - €12 taxi to and from Elounda village otherwise a 1.8mile walk to the port. Lots of lovely Greek tavernas here for dinner. Really nice fishing village"

"Sadly Never again 😟 Super staff and great decor and good pool area with plenty of beds and towels ..… BUT extremely mountainous to everywhere and NO LIFTS or stairs inside hotel which I find very strange. Everywhere was approached by steep steps with no handrails ( apart from one or two on way to pool) Hotel nowhere near anywhere so a car is a necessity. Despite booking via Melia I was supposedly double room was smaller than my single room at home very cramped wash patient was actually in the room not in the separate area. Could get round the bed unbelievably small for two people it was only when we spoke to another couple in the hotel, who said they had an enormous room that we changed rooms as there were almost no facilities whatsoever in our first room. No apologies from hotel or reason given to us. Evening meals very dull and cold so because we had hired a car, we were lucky enough to drive each evening 8 km into Agios Nikolais to a taverna. Breakfast at hotel was good however. Such a shame I felt this way about a 5 star hotel but I expected it to be of a high standard and unfortunately it is ‘anything but’"

"We had an all-around wonderful stay at the INNSiDE by Meliá Elounda and are happy to give it 5 out of 5 stars. The modern, very clean hotel is located in a quiet area on a hill and offers a great view. Our room had a comfortable bed and a nice balcony. Only the pillows were quite high for our taste. We were particularly impressed by the breakfast with its large selection of fresh, high-quality products and the dinner with three options served daily: Fish, meat, and vegetarian. It was wonderful to relax by the pool: The lounge chairs are extremely comfortable, and even at the beginning of October, we always found a spot. We also enjoyed the delicious food options at the pool bar and the 60-minute yoga sessions on Tuesday and Friday. Important to know: The hotel is located on a hillside, so there are stairs and inclines between the buildings. A rental car is also practically indispensable for getting into town, as there are no suitable sidewalks. The hotel has two types of quite high pillows; even after a prior email regarding flat side-sleeper pillows and a later inquiry at the hotel, no alternative could be provided. The drains also developed a very strong odor overnight, which only disappeared after flushing them multiple times. Conclusion: Ideal for couples looking for peace, good food, and relaxed pool days in a modern environment – provided you are okay with the remote location."
