Stella Palace Aqua Park Resort

"Too many cats, my son has a severe allergy from Cats. The greek ala carte in particular caused us grief which I mention to guest relations. I feel from a hygeine perspective they should have some repellent on entry of the restuarants as cats crawling in the bin then on peoples table is not great. The sofa bed for kids is extremely uncomfortable which again I voiced my concerned and ignored. Depsite this our room in 686 was great for the private pool and the rest of the ala cartes were great. Entertainment should be slightly earlier so kids can enjoy and the buffet tea time should open earlier. Overall I would not returned had better experiences in other destinations but drinks are good especially the painkiller cocktail."

"My issue with this hotel is the customer service. On leaving our room for the final time I mistakenly left my shoes in there but when I asked at reception about this I was told that nothing had been found. I struggle to believe that a pair of trainers can just disappear so I did email the hotel on my return. I was basically told that the hotel were not responsible and items of value should be stored in the safe. I’m sure we all cram our footwear in the safes!! They were keen to tell me that as the door locks were electronic they had records of who accessed the room. They have a record of who stole my trainers but refuse to act in It. The tone of their emails was very patronising and I feel like they basically called me a liar. Not happy at all and I certainly will not be returning."

"Booked here for a family of 14 however due to personal circumstances had to cancel 7 of the party. Last minute two of us decided to book for a 5 day stay, right at the very end of the season. Well we were not disappointed. The hotel is immaculately clean. Rooms are cleaned daily and the food on offer in the Buffett restaurant is excellent with different choices every day. The many pools are exceptional and the water flumes were one of the best we’ve ever been to. Reception staff, Costas, was excellent and nothing we asked was too much trouble. We chose to eat in different restaurants which you pre-book the day before. Mexican and the steakhouse were both fantastic. If you’re looking for a family friendly resort which is of a superior quality then look no further than Stella Palace resort. Loved it so much we will definitely be looking to book for next year but this time bringing those family members who could not join us this time around. Also to mention, many guests re-gift their inflatables therefore there is no need to purchase any they are always available somewhere on the resort. Entertainment laid on nightly which was really good especially the children’s entertainment. Well worth a visit!"
