If you can tear yourself away from your sun lounger, you can play games of beach volleyball, football, tennis, and more. Aqua fit sessions take place in the pool, and you can join with archery and darts, too. The hotel also lets you borrow pedalos and canoes if you want to get out on the sea. Children, meanwhile, will be entertained at the action-packed kids’ club. It offers everything from history lessons and cookery classes to arts and crafts sessions and treasure hunts, so they’ll certainly be kept busy. There’s also a teens club with sport-focused activities.

When it comes to mealtimes, the main restaurant is the place to be. It’s a buffet set-up serving around-the-world dishes, and there’s a Greek lunch every Sunday. Then you’ve got the To Nissi snack bar down on the beach, which offers up light bites during the day and à la carte dinners by the sea in the evening. The Meli Palace lounge bar, meanwhile, takes care of drinks.
