Village Panorama

"We haven’t even finished our stay at Panorama Village yet, but I already wanted to take a moment to leave a review and thank the wonderful team who truly deserve to be recognised. A very special thank you to Irene at reception for her kindness, attentiveness, and the time she took to look after us. She has been absolutely amazing, always welcoming, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. She is such a lovely person, and it is people like her who make a real difference and turn a stay into something special. I would also like to thank Maria and the entire reception team, as well as the restaurant staff, for their warm welcome, their smiles, and their constant attention. You can really feel how dedicated everyone is to their work and how much effort they put into making guests feel comfortable and well looked after. We know how demanding this job can be, especially towards the end of the season, and we felt it was important to express our gratitude without even waiting until the end of our stay. A huge thank you and congratulations to the entire Panorama Village team, and a very special mention to Irene! Your kindness, hard work, and positive energy truly deserve to be recognised. "Overall the hotel, amenities and staff are very good. The hotel is lovely, well maintained and offers some breath taking views. The staff are all friendly and happy to help. Please be aware if you have mobility issues, this hotel would not be suitable due to plentiful steep steps and slopes. Also bear this in mind if booking with young children requiring a pushchair. There are just a few things that let the hotel down which is slightly disappointing. The biggest thing for us was the food, it really was terrible (leading to us eating out at restaurants 6 nights out of the 7) we are not fussy eaters in the slightest but the quality was extremely poor and it was always stone cold. No hot lights and always very much the same. The all inclusive drinks were cheap, local knock offs (expected with alcohol, but not so much with soft drinks) The rooms are minimal modern which is nice, however no drawers for storage and no cups for the kettle in the room provided. House keeping also seem to collect glasses, plates and bowls from peoples rooms whilst cleaning and leave them scattered around the hotel (sort of a, “not my job” thing) it’s just not too pleasing to the eye and a small thing that lets the hotel down. There are no “ Do Not Disturb” signs to hang on your door. So if you’re in your room during the day, they can just walk in at any point which is unsettling. If you can manage the walk to the beach, it’s quite lovely with a good selection of shops, bars and restaurants. Albeit, we did enjoy our time at this hotel we just feel like it could be so much better if the food is improved and little things rectified."

"On the main, loved our week in Panorama hotel, but some issues. 1. Beds are like sleeping on pallets, so hard and uncomfortable. 2. No bedside lamps so difficult to read in bed, and extractor fan in bathroom very noisy. 3. Bathroom needs deep clean where mold around shower and resealing. 4. Food absolutely gorgeous and high quality, but as previously mentioned, let down by heat. Really does need a better heating system to keep warm. On the positives, it's beautifully positioned and laid out, with stunning views. Perfect for a laid-back, relaxing holiday. We had a lovely welcome, along with salad box as arrived at 10.30pm, and reception always very friendly. Our room 1022 was massive, with sofa and bunk bed area, good balcony with views. Finish a little rough, but modern. Large sliding double wardrobe but no drawers for storage. Kettle, some teabags but no cups or glasses. Most of the staff were so friendly and helpful, making it a joy to use restaurant especially. The kitchen staff deserve a special mention as always a fabulous array of quality foods, and salad selection was incredible. All public areas kept clean and constantly being cleaned. Lots of pool options around complex, though very cold at this time of year. Entertainment is offered, with programme for week. Enjoyed the greek and Cretan acts, had a laugh with bingo night but if sitting inside bar(which was necessary due to bad weather) you couldn't hear or see anything . Animation team seemed to consist of just Harris and another very lackluster young girl. Not particularly dynamic and didn't see any of children's activities so can't comment. Drinks were usual for all inclusive, local spirits and tap mixers, so most cocktails were poor. You could pay extra and order off inclusive for drinks of better quality, starting from €9. Also, all inclusive bar closes at 11pm, which is a little early compared to previous hotels. Didn't use shuttle to beach but walked there, which could be a challenge for some due to steepness, but we enjoyed it. Agia Pelagia is a small resort with not a lot there, except bars along small beach area and some shops. If you're looking for nightlife and party, this isn't for you, but pleasant chilled vibe. Overall, really enjoyed our week here, met some lovely people and ate far too much!! We had some poor weather, which did restrict activities as mainly a place to enjoy sunbathing and chillaxing."
