"Please take the bad reviews seriously; avoid at all costs. The hotel is hardly two stars. It is located at the top of the hill. It's a nightmare to get there at night with a suitcase because nobody tells you where it is located. Then the receptionist will dump you in the worst room at the hotel. ALL THE ROOMS ARE DIFFERENT. Welcomed with mouldy cakes and smelling like a dump room, with a wall view..The next day, I was looking for a different room just because mine was mouldy and dirty so I spent half a day while my children were by themselves in the swimming pool. Nobody cares; bad receptionist. It is a literal waste of money and time. The rooms, swimming pool, toilet is everything dirty, the lift was not working. Old beds, no covers, folding toilets. Will provide some pictures. I have no words on how to describe the hotel I have never seen anything like that totally different from the advertisement. I will never go back or recommend it to anybody else."

"As said by most reviews this is not a 5 star hotel by any strech of the imagination, however value for money wise it does what it says on the tin. We arrived really late on Tuesday 6th october, check in was smooth and we were asked for 105 euros tourist tax despite being informed by love holidays it was 90 euros, the manager kindly let us have a few free drinks at the bar because we had missed that days all inclusive. The hotel is on really steep hill, we avoided that climb because we had a taxi from the airport. Our room was 2111 located in the main building a spacious room, luxurious no, comfortable yes, when we woke up in the morning it was a view to die for. Breakfast wasn't great to be honest, the bacon was awful, no variation of sausages tinned hot dog style every day, I just stuck with toast ,fried egg and beans which were not the best and were cold so had to heat them in the microwave. lunch was ok, very repetetive and not hot ,also in my opinion the french fries were cold and inedible, so I had the rice or pasta every day, the same can be said of dinner,I can however recommend the spag bol this was really tasty and there was a tomato sauce version which is ideal for vegetarians, I have to say the staff were amazing every day of our stay. Also please be aware that if you want to use the safe it will cost you 3 euros a day ,18 euros for my stay, I think this should be a free facility, but that's just my opinion. The golf cart that takes you to and from the hotel is a blessing, we used it most days, and all the drivers were fabulous. The bar drinks were very good the lager was nice and also the selection of spirits, lots of people were having cocktails which were very popular. It was almost the last week of their season so I have to be mindful of that, would it be any different in the height of season i'm not so sure. Would I stay here again no, but to be honest I have no plans to visit Crete again, there's just not enough going on for me. But to close, if you are looking for a good value clean and comfortable hotel ( the rooms and towels were cleaned and changed daily) then you shouldn't be too disappointed with this hotel."

"Disappointing Experience – Not Worthy of a 5-Star Hotel We stayed at this hotel from 26 September to 8 October, and unfortunately, it did not live up to the standards of a 5-star hotel. We had been looking forward to our stay and had booked a room with a shared terrace and pool. However, the pool on the terrace was so dirty that it was unusable, with hundreds of dead ants floating in it. We asked reception if someone could clean it, and they said they would. However, the pool was not cleaned until the very last day of our stay. By that point, we had already bought a pool skimmer ourselves to remove the dead ants. The terrace was never properly cleaned or swept, even after periods of bad weather and heavy rain. On one occasion, we even had ants inside our room. Despite reporting the problem, nobody came to take care of it. The toilet was worn and outdated, and the showers were dirty. The food was also very disappointing. It seemed as though the buffet dishes were simply rearranged between lunch and dinner to make them look slightly different. Almost everything consisted of meat and fish dishes in sauces, with no variety. Even the turkey was shredded into small pieces. The same food was served every evening, which became very repetitive. However, we would like to praise the restaurant staff, who did a good job, as well as the staff driving the golf carts. They were helpful and provided good service. We paid more than DKK 24,000 for our hotel stay, and it was simply not worth the money. We have stayed at 3-star hotels that offered a much better experience, both in terms of facilities and food. It is very disappointing when you book a stay expecting the quality and standards of a 5-star hotel, only to find that the hotel falls far short of those expectations. Of course, the hotel cannot control the bad weather, but it can control the cleanliness and maintenance of its facilities, the quality of its food, and the service it provides. Finally, there was entertainment on only one evening during our entire stay. For a 5-star hotel, we would have expected a much better selection of activities and entertainment. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience, and we would not consider the hotel worthy of a 5-star rating."
