"Wow, where do I start? The family that run the apartments make you feel welcome and at home. They all greet you with a smile and are very warm and genuinely lovely people! Their children are adorable and watching them all sit together and socialise everyday made my heart smile. This is what I love about Greece! They value family and their traditions. They don’t pretend that they live a perfect life but what they do have they hold on to tightly. Also a special mention to the young girls that work in the bar/restaurant. They are all very sweet, are always smiling and are all very friendly! The room - clean, spacious and perfect as a base! I don’t spend a lot of time in my room when I travel so the fact that the furniture isn’t modern really did not bother me. The beds are comfortable the room was clean and the shower was hot! There is a kitchenette with basic equipment to cook a meal if you didn’t want to eat out. What more could you want from a 3 star apartment? The toilet bin was emptied daily, towels were changed and room cleaned half way through the week. The pool - clean, large and plenty of sun beds to go around! The bar area is also spacious with plenty of tables. Food/drink - The food was tasty and reasonably priced! You can get a pint of local beer for 4 euro and sex on the beach or a Blue Lagoon are both on special at 5 euro each if you fancy a cheap cocktail! Location - Legends is literally a 5 minute walk to the beach and main Sidari strip. There is a busy road that runs along side it but you don’t have to walk that way. There is another safer route at the back of the apartments which I would opt for personally although I did walk the road way but made sure I was facing the oncoming traffic (there isn’t any foot paths). Round up - I booked to stay here again in June next year! so I think that tells you everything you need to know! It’s the owners and their family that make this place so special! When I left they all gave me a hug and said goodbye and the two eldest children ran from the pool area to give me a cuddle and say goodbye! I was waved off with a warm heart and this was so special to me! Which keeps me returning to Greece! I’ve been 11 times to various islands but 5 times to Sidari. Greece has always had my heart from a child when I first visited Corfu with family. So please come and experience the magic of Greece and these special family run apartments. "Location to the strip was great. 5 minute walk. The pool was lovely clean and tidy. No sunbed wars - we always managed. The breakfast (couple people in our group had this) was lovely - some toast with it would be great though! Meal prices fair. The room was clean, bed was comfy. Aircon was fab. Only downside to my room (112) the fly screen was screwed shut so had to walk round to the terrace area - but wasnt a big deal. The toilet bin was emptied daily however room only cleaned once in the week with 1 towel change and using same towel 4 days in a row, morning and night after 8 times.. il pack my own spare next time. The negatives. Hotels does not cater if you have any allergies. Asked 3 people about gluten free food options (anything) to be told no. The menu states no swops or changes to the menu and bills cant be split. Annoying when travelling as a family group! However we just sat at seperate tables so no big issue. We were charged 70 euros for the aircon and 35 for the tourist tax per room - we had 3 rooms - but were not allowed to pay this on card. Cash only! Card could only be used in the bar area. 315 euros - i was told its ok go to the cash point and pay later. We did pay but still received a letter through my door the next day asking me to pay! All sorted quickly but slightly frustrating. All in all a nice clean hotel, good location and lovely pool, especially when the fountain lit on an evening. Will return in a couple years"

"We stayed at here in Sidari for a week in a two-bedroom apartment early August. The owners are genuinely lovely, it's a family-run business. All of the staff are friendly and greet you with a smile every day, especially Erica, who was always so welcoming. The pool area is absolutely immaculate and really pretty. We never struggled to get a sunbed, although if you're travelling as a group and want beds together, I'd recommend putting your towels down by around 9.30am. The food is good quality and reasonably priced. Breakfast was really tasty with plenty of choice, and they also serve lunches until around 5pm before switching to the evening menu. Drinks are good value too – €1 for a bottle of water and around €4 for a large Mythos. Our apartment was extremely spacious, with a well-equipped kitchen if you want to prepare some of your own meals. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows, and the bathroom was always spotless. Once we'd got the air conditioning working properly, it kept the room cool, although it does get warm if you're out because you can't leave the key card in to keep it running. There were just a couple of downsides. We had to pay an extra €165 on arrival for the room tax and air conditioning, which came as quite a surprise. We really feel Jet2 should make these charges much clearer at the time of booking, as it could catch people on a tighter budget off guard. The bathroom doesn't have a window or extractor fan, so it gets very steamy after a shower. We also found that only one toilet roll was left each time the room was cleaned (I think our room was serviced twice during the week), so we ended up buying our own with their being 5 of us. Overall though, we'd happily recommend Legends. For a Greek island apartment, it's a really good standard, the atmosphere is relaxed, everything is kept beautifully clean, and the staff genuinely make you feel welcome. We'd definitely consider staying here again."
