Amour Holiday Resort

"We were transferred by Love Holidays to this hotel for four days as the Serena Hotel (also in the Ninos hotel group) had still not been finished/opened in the Canal D'Amour. The hotel is centrally located but right on top of the 'smelly river'. Very cramped and dated. The hotel needs total renovation. We did not have air conditioning in our bedroom as the system was situated in a room for children and unfortunately we did end up sleeping in the camp beds in that room! Even then the air conditioning hardly worked. The first floor balcony was pleasant but all round the room was dull and uninspiring. The food was the standard repetitive unappetising fayre that is all too familiar in Greek all-inclusive hotels and, therefore, we ate at lovely local restaurants. The pool was small, crowded and uninspiring. All in all this is a two star hotel."

"The hotel really needs refurbishment, in our room many things were half broken, on top the room was very humid, in few days all our clothing was wet. We asked for a different room but we were refused. The food was OK but nothing speciál, in particular breakfast was same every day. I believe the hotel does not justify 4* rating, it is max 3. The only positive thing to day was staff - always nice and willing to help."
