Laidback stay in the Kassiopi hills
The family-run Hotel Lofos Kassiopi comes with a brilliant setting – you’ll find it in an elevated position, with views across the sea to the Albanian mountains. Plus, Kassiopi’s pretty harbour and the beach are within a 10-minute stroll.
Days here are super relaxed. There’s a laid-back feel to the outdoor terrace, which plays host to a good-size swimming pool, and a shallow kids’ pool. The water is framed by a team of sun loungers, parasols, and Mediterranean greenery.
There’s a poolside bar-restaurant for drinks, snacks, and ice creams during the day, and breakfast is served here in the mornings. Dinner’s not available here, as the hotel owners encourage guests to sample the nearby bars, restaurants, tavernas – of which there are many!
Accommodation comes in the form of well-decorated studios. They all have air-conditioning, a safe, a bathroom, and a balcony or terrace. If you want to treat yourself to stunning views from your room, opt for a sea-view studio.
